Look for this to be a wild day; I am debating should I take my lumps or average down; with only .08 per share where is the bottom. I think the street was expecting bad numbers but apparently it wasn't baked into the cake.... Good luck to all.

Before trading ended today I shorted SHAK. They probably have a good product but if you look at the value of the company it is over priced. Anyone who invests based solely on the Cramer Burlesque Show should take a few courses in investing. This stock is a trade not an investment at this price level.

O.K. any good company can have a bad quarter. In addition, whenever someone at the FED breaks wind and the 10 yr. sees a mild uptick these mREITS, BDC's and LLC's like our company get hammered, this happened last year and much to my regret I dumped NYMT and a few other good mREITS. Was not invested in EFC but they trended down. Now, the B/V @ $23.00 is down from previous quarters but at $20.11 what dear friends is the discount to B/V?? I bought a few weeks before ex-div and sure I have lost some hair but that dosen't mean I have been scalped either.

If EFC upticks by .20 cents then I think the bottom is in. Anyway, I added a few hundred shares today @ $20.03 and I remain optomistic about a rebound. Look at what happens at least once a year when these instruments get hammered; the fools sell and the smart $$ picks up some bargains.
