    52 Week Low

Unless EFC is exposed to MBS in Liberia I think we are O.K. Anyway, Ebola seems to be having a disturbing impact on the market. More people get killed by handguns in my hometown of Detroit everyday than people dying of Ebola. Keep your powder dry.

Seems to me you only like optimistic posts. I have done well in the past with EFC and will buy it once it hits my acquisition target price. Throw all the bricks you want but there are a lot of other good buys out there.

    Time for NEW CEO

You must be on meth!! How could the newly minted CEO predict Putin, soft European sales, ISIL and South American politicis!! I see the stock as over sold and am looking for an entry point around $14.40. Ford is an international concern and all geopolitical factors should be studied before throwing stones at the glass house. Good luck with your short position.

I didn't mean to gloat my friend. Simply stating a fact; this IPO put too many shares into the stew so to speak and nobody does well in a event such as this. I am not in the habit of picking my own pocket. Having said that I was happy not to lose more when I sold out. BTW, I went to all cash a few weeks ago. I think you remember the mREIT sell-off last year around this time. This market for me anyway is too volatile. Meant no offense friend.

This is still a good company; did NOT like recent SPO and I made a comment about catching a falling knife; some said I was in error it would be back to $24.00 in no time. I predict $21.00 before $24.00.

    Book Value Decline

This is like trying to catch a falling knife; I sold out yesterday and thankfully with my upcoming dividend payment I didn't lose much hair. Also own NYMT and dumped it; the bond rally in conjuction with another SOP that is rumored concerns me. Anyway, I like EFC but I think their relatively low market cap and lack of investor knowledge contributed to this decline. Frankly, I think this stock is headed to $21.00 and when it reaches that level I will buy back in.

I have a position in WMC. O.K. they had a bumpy ride along with some of the other mREITS; however, I looked up WMC on my Scottrade account and they show a P/E @ 5 and the profitability of the company which Yahoo simply has wrong. Spoke to a nice gent from shareholder relations and he gave me some good points in evaluating mREITS. The company has good b/v and I am optomistic. Cramer of course advises "sell" rating on the stock but if you did into his "The Street" article it is filled with inconsistent conclusions.

Oh look, the ten year note down to 2.37%

Fully concur. However, as the Communist Chinese look for ways to prop up the debt service on the "empty cities" will they dump the Treasuries they own resulting in higher or lower rates? Who will buy them?? I may be of the old school but I regard the Chinese as dishonorable thieves who have no respect for intellectual property, food purity; the list could go on dear readers. Jack, I think until we face the moral risk in dealing with these creatures and exporting our jobs our economy will continue to remain weak for those with minimum wage jobs.
