If, in fact, KUTV is bought out for 1 billion dollars (I for one don't believe it) that would put the share value at about $17 - $18! That sure works for me, however, don't see it happening.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Haven't seen anything but might have missed it....has KUTV announced a new president yet? Has the recent run up been because there's speculation a heavy hitter may take the position? Any info would be appreciated.
Just so you understand.....you can't really sue someone for stupidity otherwise you'd be sued for the stupid suggestion and post.
I believe what you are citing is the Judge's request from plaintiffs attorneys which was issued on August 3, 2013. Since then there has been no verifiable news from the court or the company.
With a terrible report from management, guidance less than positive, and a book value at minus 51 cents p/s why should anyone invest in APP? Just curious. Been following it for a while and have only seen negative news and terrible performance.
Do you really think the judge has any concerns that shareholders are angry? The judge's only responsibility is to act/rule on the case according to law, not because some shareholders are getting frustrated. Any attempt to contact the judge would be the dumbest strategy anyone can do. Just relax and everything will play out in due time. Because you're upset is totally meaningless.
BM chart shows this may be in the crapper for a time but when the weak hands get flushed longs will wipe this in the end. Movement may be a bit constipated but ENEMA chart shows strong movement will soon flow.
I'm certainly not the sophisticated investor you are, but I do have one question....#$%$ is "strick labeling"?
And yet the question remains.....how are they going to monetize the traffic? The conference call basically said they have no idea and that costs will continue outstrip income. Going forward guidance was more of the same. I know, Robbie, you have provided great info on KU6's eyeballs (traffic) both in China and worldwide, but you may have to scale back your enthusiasm until such time that management has a clearer explanation as to their ability to financially grow the value of the company. As I stated before, their performance was amatuerish and their inability to answer some pointed questions was terrifically lacking.
would you please define "Causcious"? Can't seem to find that word anywhere. Has it anything to do with "caucasian"? Is this a stock for white people? And who are "the retail" you mention? So many questions yet so little information.
Steven...in reply to your previous post.....your questions and comments were quite articulate. The response from management was pathetic and amatuererish. I'm not sure if it was you, but one caller took them to task for not being prepared to answer the tough questions. That was spot on!
After taking a couple of hours to calm down I'm left with this conclusion.....the conference call was the height of an amateur hour. Questions couldn't be answered because the were clueless. It's well and good to state that the Chinese are different from what we Americans are used to, but good god, do you really have any confidence that these people know what they're doing? One caller admonished them for not being prepared and not having answers and he was spot on! I put my money on what I thought was a thoroughbred and have realized I bet on a nag. What an embarrassing performance.
If you're listening to this presentation you just heard they have no clue when revue will exceed costs. More important there is no idea when profits will be realized. This may be one of the worst presentations I have ever heard! There is not one iota of positive news here relating to lower costs and profitability. I said I thought tomorrow the s/p would drop by about 20%. Now I think 40 - 50% is more likely. I think we have all heard enough about their ranking in China and the world compared to other companies in the same space. These dolts have no idea or clue on monetizing their popularity. I'm outta here. Good luck to all who have a stronger stomach for this #$%$ being feed us.
Share price will be down close to 20%. Regardless of any positive guidance which may be given in the conference call, although given past history we'll get none, I just feel this is the type of stock which reacts strongly up or down given positive or negative news. Now I'm going to put away my crystal ball and not worry about KUTV for a couple of quarters. By then we'll know if management has the ability to monetize its traffic.
