After the fed pulls the plug on the wall street party in 2014, the market will correct at least 20%. As I'm sure you know, Echelon will correct along with the dow, so sub $2 is guaranteed. Without a MAJOR contract in 2014, I would not be surprised to see sub $1.5. There is no need to discuss delisting to the otc market until they get under a buck, so that most likely won't happen for a couple of years. But, if we are sitting here in two years talking about that elusive contract, we could very likely be discussing it.
Actually I was talking to scion, who seems to believe that Warren Buffet would invest in a company that hasn't made a profit in a decade. Warren Buffet thinks risk is investing in Exxon Mobile.
If you actually think Warren Buffet has a single share of Echelon stock, you are a lot more gullible than I thought.
Well, they have proven that they are not capable of selling their product so maybe they can get Obama to just give them money. It's certainly worth a try. If he did it for Solyndra and the people didn't care, why not Echelon?
Just because Echelon offers a product doesn't mean it is going to generate any revenue. Companies like Marvell work with multiple vendors, just like all of Echelon's other partners. Look at all the collaborations that Echelon is involved in, and then look at the revenue they are all generating. This announcement equates to zero revenue. It is just another opportunity for future revenue.
You have to be a special kind of incompetent when the game is rigged in your favor and you still lose money. If the Federal Govt ever stops protecting JPM, the resulting investigations will reveal the most corrupt company in the history of America. Bear Stearns will look like choir boys compared to these guys.
I have no insurance, and I am not getting any. I have studied this form of socialism carefully, and discovered that the IRS cannot seize personal property or wages to pay the penalty, and there is no tax evasion provision. Therefore, the only way they can get to pay a fine for refusing to get coverage is through my federal refund. I'm self employed, so guess what I am going to do? I'm going to underpay my quarterly estimated tax, so I owe at the end of the year, and they will get a check for the taxes owed, but not a penny of the obamacare penalty. I have always said that I really don't care if America evolves into a socialist nation if that is what the majority want. But, I will not participate in it.
Phil, anyone can manufacture new products. History is riddled with companies that invested in the manufacture of consumer products that had no interest. Remember the Edsel? Remember the Beta VCR? People on here have an orgasm everytime Echelon introduces a new product. Unfortunately for them, they have no business experience, so they equate new products with revenue and profit. Do you really think Honeywell is going to use Echelon products exclusively? Hell no. They want to have a selection of products to meet the needs of THEIR customers. Of course they want a lonworks compatible product. Does that mean Honeywell is exclusively Lonworks? Hell no. It means they want to be able to offer it to the minority of consumers who require it. Meanwhile, Honeywell will make millions selling any and all protocols to their customers. Do you know Verizon offers an Ambient product available to purchase? How many do you think they sold? My guess is zero. Wake me up when they actually sell something and generate income.
I'm pretty sure you said 2011 was the make or break year for Echelon, and $8 a share was an insulting price. Now you say the next 2 years are make or break? I bet you aren't stupid enough to say 8 bucks a share would be an insult.
