How much should I put in? 100 shares, 1000 shares, 10,000 shares, Or go big for 100,000 or 1,000,000 shares? Do tell!!
LOL And the question is why why why? They can't even make money on a simple installation business so why would anyone think that SCTY has the talent and ability and smarts and know-how to build and run the biggest solar panel factory? Show me the profits.
LOL Perkel... Just let it perkolate a little longer. If you think its a good buy at 48, what will you say about 43, 39, 35,, 27, 19, 2? Still all good buys or just better buys...
LOL Just checking up on the progress. Is it getting closer? Christmas is coming and all the little girls and boyz want some big cash for big presents.
LOL. So instead of sitting down with Panasonic and negotiating a long term supply contract and letting Panasonic deal with the all of the issues Tesla decides to enter the battery business itself. And try to do it better than Panasonic. Help me please. That's better than laughing gas.
LOL. Reality check please. And with the wages that the average Walmart employee receives do you imagine that after food, beer, rent, health care, school supplies, bowling shirts and christmas wrappings that there is much left over to make a deposit on a new personal EV. Seems to me there's the nub for the EV revolution. What we should be asking is: where are all the new EV trains, trolley cars, light rail etc. Not trying to replace personal ICE vehicles. Cause the average family will never afford them. Not even if they are hyperlooped into the future.
LOL Nice simple question dino, but don't expect a clear answer from simple people. And of course you do know you won't find one climate or related scientist on this board. It is about TSLA baby. The giant scam of the century, the way Eloon is going to save the world from all the baddies. And on the slight chance things don't go to plan here, then how to retire to Mars.
LOL dolfie baby... Welcome to the TSLA board. But do you really have time to be here instead of back on the AMZN stomping grounds?
LOL. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Future, future future. Hope Hope Hope. But you are right - "might be worth waitig a little less." LIke a whole lot less Like don't bother to wait at all. Oh, excuse me. am I on the dream channel or is this really reality investing?
LOL. Do companies make non-GAAP adjustments!? A tougher question is: does the sun come up in the east? My memory goes back to WorldCom and Bernie and ArthurAndersen - when the world of nonGAAP became reality, make-believe the password, and the SEC folded up shop. NonGAAP has been the new black for many a year. It's so powerful and neet and cool that it even converts red to black.
Well jc, we certainly do disagree. I think we will look back at the AMZN, TSLA ventures as just examples of complete mal-investments. A waste of scarce resources, including time, money, effort in a time when there are some serious problems to be dealt with. So no, I do not see any "value to society as a whole" or any "good for society" from these ventures. I see them as very obvious examples of what has been the biggest failure in properly functioning capital markets in the history of the world.
I got a three dollar bill you win if any analyst dares ask that question. Or anything about profitability, detailed sales data. the specifics of the "new Toyota deal", the partners in the Giga Factory, the costs of the selfdrive features, the failures of the drive trains, the prospects for sales in Norway, the status of the plant in the Netherlads, the situation with the lawsuits in Michigan, the industry conference about electric plug standards that Tesla wasn't invitated to... WoW you coud win a lot of bills!!
Sorry gentlemen to disturb the seriousnness of this board, but I was have a chat with a lady friend, well actually she was chatting at me to tell the truth, and I was listening oh so carefully, as I usually don't, because the subject caught my attention. She intimated that the Ni-Cad batteries on her "toy" kept failing and that she had heard about the new Giga battery plant and its "fabulous new ion inducing charge." I think she meant Lithium but I dared do nothing but listen because I didn't want to spoil the mood. Anyway, she wondered if "toys" would run longer and require few charges with the new batteries. All I could muster as a response was that surely they could be plugged in all day when not in use. Now here's a market that I insist should grow by 50% per year forever.
LOL. fleas off a dog in a forest fire. In case you have ever been close to one or even moved closer to your TV screen to watch the news at 5, the dogs usually get the heck out. They are like rats and a sinking ship. And investors and SCTY.
