The article does state, "Unilever and Solazyme have been collaborating for five years on multiple projects, culminating in a supply agreement covering the first of Solazyme and Unilever’s jointly developed tailored oils with an initial supply of at least 10,000 metric tons (MT). The vast majority of the oil for the soap products will be produced in the new renewable oils facility in Moema, Brazil. Unilever expects to purchase the full volume within twelve to eighteen months."

So there is 10,000 MT of Moema's 100,000 capacity spoken for and that 12 to 18 month ramp up mentioned by an original offtake partner. Did'nt Wolfson mention once on previous calls there was algal oil being shipped into Brazil? Fits into Unilevers announcing these completed validation trials and Lux 'algal oil included' soap on Brazilian market shelves since March 2014.

I finally saw Goldmans Solazyme ad on MSNBC. They showed a large beaker with Solzayme logo and 'Jet Fuel' in prominent print. Then they showed a handful of Algenist products in a separate scene. There is a unique value to 'low soot produced in burning aviation fuel' like Solazyme's is. That issue of mans activities and impact on the climate may never get its fair consideration and address in America's unrelenting 'right wing' media blathering-shout, but there has been global concern and organization for action regarding high-altitude pollution for years now with airlines onboard, able to realize maintenance savings and reduce high altitude soot by adopting avation biofuels. Like the Encapso performance specs, such a 'low soot' aviation fuel cannot be produced by traditonal catalytic cracking methods. Even a 'big oil' could partner making these two products for markets they cannot sell into with their traditional products.

crushthepoodle, search for this articles title, "Unilever creeert eerste toiletzeep met duurzame algenolien van Solaz". The only result google listed on my screen is a one hour old story on netherlandscorporatenews. The text of that article is in English. Top left of that story page, above the articles title (shown here in quotes), click on 'Check the original'. It is a link to the original press release on Unilevers website.

crushthepoodle, It is on Unilever website. Search, "Unilever creates first toilet soap with sustainable Solazyme's algae oils" 2nd link google listed was to the 'Netherlands Corporate News' website. Their version of the Lux algal soap news, top left of that page, click 'Check the original'. It will take you to the 30/04/2014 press release on Unilever's website.
