Reminds me of what Marva18_86 posted mid-February, our company is distinguished and the price is starting to show respect in the marketplace. Hold your shares, buy more if you can.

Synthetic Biologics WON the BIO CEO & Investor Conference's "Buzz of BIO" contest
Synthetic Biologics WON the BIO CEO & Investor Conference's "Buzz of BIO" contest in the Most Distinguished Public Company category!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Speaking of scaffold implants, NVIV has been excellent. Also in this space is Harvard Apparatus Regenerative Technologies, or HART. They have a scaffold for the trachea that they soak with patient's stem cells, and have implanted this in 6 humans with good results. I started adding after their capital raise. $3.83. Looking for a 10-bagger with continued good results.
OSIR going profitable full year this year, 17.59 on Friday, blip down for good value entry. It's one of my mainstay positions, been accumulating since 13's in December. Regenerative medicine. SYN is one of my other mainstay positions, have more shares of it than any other, been there for two years with some trades around my core.
Yes, and I'm sure most informed longs noticed that the low on the 'Friday's slippage' was 17.57. That was our resistance, now turned support. I look at days like this as being an RSI reset, giving longs a lower Relative Strength Index from which to launch our assault on the next resistance which is $18.41. This next time we close above that level, I'd give it very long odds we don't retrace below it again.
Please keep your negative gut feelings out of the message board lube. You are feeding the dark side with your post. I think looking across the bio positions I had, we just had a tough day and maybe it had to do with options expiration, but nothing was wrong with the market or the sector. SYN had a good day and a couple others I own, but most were down. I think it was a wash out of stops, a tought Friday, but nothing more. There's big money wanting in, this gives them an entry if they missed on the offering. So, got it? Get your positive mojo back dude!
Look at SYN. Good to buy now, will soon shoot over 3 on its way to 5-6 later this year, great management, a Randall J. Kirk company. Diverse pipeline with one MS drug ready for phase 3 trials. Great YMB with many knowledgable posters.
Bernardino noted, “We make no changes to our model, but would revisit our projections upon further insight into RedHill’s strategy and timing with Bekinda commercialization. With the stock up 50% from recent lows, yet 104% upside to our $25 PT, we believe the stock continues to be at levels attractive for opening new positions.”
The analyst continued, “We look for near-term milestones, such as potential initiation of Ph 3 with RHB-104 in Crohn’s in the EU in 4Q14, topline data from the ongoing RHB-105 Ph 3 in Helicobacter pylori in 1H15, and potential EU approval of Rizaport (rizatriptan) for migraines in mid-2015, as catalysts for further stock appreciation.”
Decided to add more shares today, got a partial fill on 10K shares, at .4961. Will try again tomorrow to round out the lot. The chart would agree with your timing projection of it being soon.
The first inning at the beginning of the season, very appropriate analogy, watch for those Seattle Mariners this year, going to be a contender, capture the AL West.
O/T: tauhydrae, Did you get your SYN shares yesterday before today's news?
mylk, thanks for posting your opinion. Opinions matter, this board is about as dead as they come, and with our trading volume being so low shows we just don't have broad participation (yet) in our stock. There''s a lot to like here, they have an exciting product and science. I like coming to a good discussion board, think there's going to be any excitement to generate more participation anytime soon?
Your timing was perfect, got the low and the pop! Cool, when's our stock going to move? It's only one of my 11 positions, so I'm not in a sweat over it, but I am in at .53 and not likely to add. Just tired of the red, ya know?
I'm already there, have taken out $5,000 on one trade, back in for my second trade now. Good stock, entry into SYN is good in here, follow Dallasman's TA suggestions, he's got it nailed.
Welcome, you don't start out being shy, just jumped right in, good for you. You should do very well here, looking at price yesterday versus today, looks like you caught the weakest day this week on price, so you didn't overpay. I have been in this stock several times, this time since a year ago, for most of my shares. I've always made money, like what they are doing, and how they do it. I am going to loosen up and do some trading around the next big catalysts, like our Dallasman1956. Good luck.
OK, appreciate your reply, I am going to modify my approach and take some off the table next time. Great strategy if you're smart enough, agile enough to get it done.
OK, thanks, I will pay closer attention, you are doing great to have a basis that low from taking trades off around your core.
With all those credentials and TA knowledge, and a "450% of core position", how is it you didn't sell at 3.10? Now you say we were overbought then? Surely you would have sold some of your shares then? Are you really that smart?
