I was merely watching this AVNR and have never owned shares. Thanks for weighing in Zwei, Post, and Fitz. I agree with these comments. I am going to increase my holdings in CUR, ELTP, and GALE Monday, all junior positions compared to HZNP, where I have my highest confidence and largest holding.
Post, point well taken. We are in very strong position going forward. O/T: take a look at AVNR, they are similar to HZNP but earlier stage, see what you think. Stock is at excellent entry point right now with multiple catalysts ahead. They made recent acquisition too, of OptiNose.
I am on vacation, and purposely did not open my trading platform to watch this stock hemorrhage this week. I have 5,000 shares, am down $1.44 per share or about $7,200. My sp is less than the secondary due to some $2.15 shares I owned from December. I believe in the Aldo market as game changer and agree CEO screwed up big time, but the asset or the Company will be bought out, and BOD should ask Kriegsman to resign. We can't see the solution now, but we can buy cheap shares and profit big time when the smoke clears. Sell and you are hung with a loss, and you played right into the manipulation!
Simple question deserves an honest answer. 1. Nearly a 6-bagger since bought shares both companies in March 2013, and since making HZNP my big position after leaving here, $300,000 in unrealized profits. Profitability in 2014 on $200M in revenues on three fully owned drugs, no debt, $80.5M in cash to end Q4 '13, and an elite b2b sales force of 250 commission only salespeople with stock options. CEO just said no chance of a secondary, Company has a history of transparency to shareholders. Still holding 15,000 ATRS shares but looking for better exit pricing post Q4 implosion of ATRS stock. I anticipate HZNP will continue to outperform ATRS and could likely double by year-end 2014 (Today's closing price $13.15). Best intentions to all, my money spends same as your, and I'd like you to have more of it. Holding both now, good luck to all.
"Thank you Bob, and thank you everyone for joining us on this call this morning. 2013 was a transformational year for Horizon as we took major steps forward in our goal of becoming a profitable, specialty pharmaceutical company. We focus the year on driving prescriptions of DUEXIS and launching RAYOS successfully, resulting in a significant organic growth in terms of prescriptions and value for both products.
We are extremely pleased with the early results of VIMOVO since our acquisition of its US rights from AstraZeneca on November 18 last year. This acquisition has allowed us to execute on our commitment to deliver on acquisition, to leveraging our business model, and maximize our commercial infrastructure. This deal was a significant value creative event for the company and we expected to be accretive in 2014 on a non-GAAP basis.
I’ll discuss the performance since we took control of VIMOVO shortly. We ended 2013 with $80.5 million in cash and cash equivalents which we expect will be sufficient to achieve positive operating cash flow. We also expect to be profitable in 2014 on a non-GAAP basis. This being based on our prior GAAP to non-GAAP reconciliation practice. " Tim Walbert, CEO of Horizon Pharma talks about their "transformative year" and announces profitability for 2014 with $200 million in revenues. (Likely $250-300M)
See any correlation here? He further stated no secondary will precede their achieving profitability, something Paul Wotten omitted, leaving me and others here thinking it will likely happen.
Today my wife and I went deep sea fishing here in PUerto Vallarta so I am just now seeing what today's market seved up, happily was a good day and more importantly we caught two fish and a pelican we released in good condition. Mike, come to Seattle in August for Stockchart's two day conference the promote as Chartcon 2014. I was thinking the same thing, there's a rotten stain attached to management now, once their integrity is seriously compromised, they need to put the Company up for sale. Kreigsman is done, those with him are tainted. A sad set of facts surrounding a good drug. What do shareholders do, wait for this to play out or bail with mounting losses?
Think about Baker Bros for a moment. Granted, they own shares in 83 companies and their fund has $5,372,160 asset valuation. I doubt they sold. Their average holding period is 3 years. I will expect these shares to be in the mid 20's before 90 days go by. What if you held 3 years? $54? $94? $8? I am holding, my average share price is $8.11. Good luck, have faith, these analysts were quick to put up big numbers, maybe they're right!
Good day to add to your.best assets. APPY is my best performing asset today. The rest are under pressure. Stay out of your trading platform unless you are looking to buy.
Didn't you just post closing the gap at 11.70? Now we go up? Which is your real opinion, or do you just blow with the wind direction?
Holding, buyout likely. Should be good upside from here, many sold on news but smart money will ride it through the turbulence.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Good day to get invested here TG, good entry! I've been referring to the b2b sales force TW has put together as an eliteTop Gun team, seemed to fit what my expectations are for them going forward. After you lit up the board a couple weeks ago, I suspected you'd be back. Your selling out of ATRS slowed my departure there, with residual position of 15,000 shares. Now I will wait longer, I have more ground to regain as long term holder my remaining shares. Last sale was $4.51. Good luck charm? It turned up after you bought in, good omen.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Today was actually good for the holders, stock was exuberant, now more good investors have a decent entry. Thanks Captain, now as we rise it should be more gradual. Fewer oxygen canisters for our Sherpas to port to base camp.
Stablility in the share price, giving some room for shorts to cover, it's in the best interests of long term holders, seeing a pause in here. Just hope shorts aren't emboldened.
You have this stock's number as good as anyone on this board, maybe better. Few if any here would offer acknowledgement of this, but here it is. What is your upside target and when do you expect to reach it? Nice trade!
Stay strong, don't doubt yourself or Aldo. Manipulation!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Yes, but at ATRS silence is golden, unless you're a shareholder. Will Paul address it in his comments or wait to see if it comes up in Q and A?
