And today we're up .10 after a morning reversal off the lows yesterday, I had my trading platform open when it went to 2.60 and yet wasn't feeling like adding. Good call, now we've got a gap to deal with, and they always get filled with this stock.

If not a buyout, then a partnership, but this ship will sail into a safe harbor and those on board will make serious bank!

Companies with FDA approved drugs, especially a revolutionary FDA approved drug, never go bankrupt, what an absurd suggestion, borne out of a culture of lies and manipulation! This is a turnaround story of magnanimous proportions! Bet on it, you will make bank!

Agree. Volume precedes price, heard it said often. Let it be true here, shorts should cover IMHO. I wonder if Wotton had any concerns as regards a possible oversight here and outcome of this Medac lawsuit, that might have contributed to his untimely departure?

Really good information, really can't draw any conclusions here, but one thing is for sure, clearing the air and with a biased win for our side, the stock should rally nicely once a favorable settlement is announced. Or, if not, we rise more modestly. I don't want to even conjecture as to the outcome if not favorable to ATRS.

ucited has shown himself to be very wrong in his judgements of posters and stocks IMO, ignore his comments. INO will be huge and he must be short, they have a two year cash runway and Roche as a partner, a broad pipeline, and will report their phase II results on VGX-3100 by end of this month. I expect those trial results to meet end points and the stock to soar. Good luck.

Hey, we meet again, have you been here long in time? I opened a small position several weeks ago, thought we would see it leave .70 and progress, but it acted like a magnet today. Hope you've been having a good run elsewhere. Best, Jr

There's this white space below your post by an ignored poster named Harryz61 and he's a paid basher doing exactly what you say, spending his time being contrary to longs who own the rights to the increased price per share. Place all these guys on ignore, and don't respond to their posts. Best policy is to let them along, on ignore.

Don't sweat the small stuff, this Company is fine, short term swings will shake some out, but give it some room to breathe, and you too will be fine. This Company has so much going for it, and yet it isn't going to make you feel good every day, there will be days like this. Let your money work for you while you go enjoy your life. Biotechnology offers great returns if you don't over-manage your positions. A good average holding time is 3 years or more to make the big money. I am buying stocks today that I plan to sell in 2015, 2016, or 2017. My 2014 basket of gains is already full, don't plan to take any more short term gains this year other than one position which will take me out when the merger closes. That will net me a quarter million in gains, for example.

So you know, not all posters here are old timers. I am in with 150K shares, my first shares were bought several months ago, and my average is $0.42. So, I am looking for a long term gain here, in the multiples, say at least $5.00 per share, so a '10-bagger'. If I hold longer it's because I see revenues continuing to ramp up and with that, a good long term hold. Go ELTP!

We're fine, they are just planting seeds of doubt, basher's handbook, post lies often, to pull confidence down, wear longs out. IGNORE!

I'm in DNDN at 2.04 also saw this one making the big turn but this one has had a years long bear raid, compounded by worsening fundamentals, making it a higher risk play. But I still like the risk reward at this level. VICAL is to me more of a sure thing, this one is gonna be fun. They are an impressive company, with huge potential.

I read it a couple weeks ago and then bought shares to boot. Up 16% and looking for multiples from here. Diversification. They have the only FDA approved immunological treatment for cancer in the market, and I believe for any disease, but they blew their launch amidst the bear raid(s). Buyout candidate, or partnership with first line treatment approved in EU. Launching there this year. Go INO!

Being disciplined to how you trade is important. Timing is a funny thing, it often works against traders because the market makes one wrong 'short term' quite often. That's why I stay with my investment if I like the Company, management, fundamentals. LNG is a good, hope that works for you. I too use TA, and yet I don't let it rule my trading decisions. Good luck Excavator4u!

The author has provided a very nice analysis utilizing the highly-relevant, current comparable of Algeta to value Dendreon's market buyout value. If I may expand upon that thread...

Both companies have one only one approved drug in their current portfolio --- both are treatments for prostate cancer.

Both Dendreon and Algeta have similar pipelines in terms of the number of products and stages of development. Basically similar or equivalent value in that regard.

Both Provenge and Xofigo have been approved in the USA and recently received EU approval as well.

Provenge has a more favorable overall survival benefit at 4.1 months versus just 3.6 months for Xofigo.

In Q3 2013, Provenge sales were $68 million while Xofigo sales were $17 million. For valuation purposes, let's assume for a moment that Xofigo sales will rapidly increase / quadruple, essentially achieving par with that of Provenge.

As of today (December 19, 2013), Bayer has increased its bid for Algeta by $500 million to a total of $2.9 billion. Algeta has accepted this offer to be acquired.

If you apply the Algeta acquistion and use it as the basis of a market buyout value of $2.9 billion for DNDN, and you then subtract $600 million for Dendreon's long-term debt, you're left with a value of $2.3 billion or roughly $14.35 per share. This is likely a very conservative buyout target for Dendreon.

If you consider the potential tax benefit of Dendreon's $2 billion NOL, you can add back the $600 million subtracted above, taking the value up to $2.9 billion or $18+ per share.

Also, the estimates above do not include the value of Dendreon's two (2) manufacturing facilities. These manufacturing operations are valued at $80 million, based on the fact that Dendreon sold a similar facility recently for $40 million. This would take the price up another $0.50 per share to $18.50.

Finally, DNDN's patents and intellectual property likely have an additional billion dollars of value. Dendreon is the only company to achieve FDA approval for an immunotherapy treatment in the oncology sector. Their immunotherapy platform may ultimately be applied to many other forms of cancer (---an example of this is Neuvenge for bladder cancer, currently in clinical trials). These patents and IP could add another $6.25 per share, taking the market buyout value to a figure of nearly $25 per share.

Your exhaustive hand wringing ahead of taking a position here was funny and with all that you paid up for shares...then before a week goes by you're out with a loss? What's missing is any conviction for wanting to own shares in the company and where it's going beyond a few hours or days. Buy VICL or IGXT, both are starting to move up, but patience will reward you anywhere, especially IDRA. If you held one month at least, I bet you could have left with a profit!
