I've still got my buy order in at $80. How much longer till we reach it. Perrigo is higher now than when you posted your drivel.
I went down and bought one of those paper maps to test it against my Nuvi 350. Had my girlfriend hold it up so I could follow my route on the map as I drove. Worked pretty good although she did miss annoucing so of turns and when I made a wrong turn it took forever for her to recalculate. She got kind of ticked when I asked her to use the map to find us the nearest hotel. She couldn't do it. I told her my Nuvi could. She then proceeded to tell me what my Nuvi couldn't do. I'm going to send flowers today and hope for the best.
I don't use my Nuvi 350 too often. But it sure was nice trying to find my turn to a new golf course last Saturday as we drove into the rising sun. Could hardly see and we would not have spotted the sign until too late.
Also used it this summer while I was in California. Nice to be able to pack it in my carry-on and have it ready to go when I got in the rental car.
Next week when I drive from Michigan to North Carolina it will help me find my hotel and then the small airport I need to be at early the next morning. All I know now is the airport is 25 miles from the town I'm staying in.
That said I think a lot of people can use a portable. Don't need it around town but if you like to head out anywhere new it sure is handy. I think a lot will be given as gifts by people like me who have found them real handy.
wow calif, get a life. if something like that message gets you uptight you are going to die young of a stroke. got you on ignore from now on as you have nothing of use to say.
I too am looking forward to the 605 and the 705 hitting the market. I've been wanting the 305 but it did not have maps. Finally they are going to make that available. I'm not so interest in sharing as I know the routes in my area but if I could go into a bike shop in another area of the country and download routes from them into my handlebar mounted GPS unit it would be great. Wouldn't have to be watching the intersection signs so close as the unit would let me know when to turn. I e-mailed the press release to many of my cycling friends and these units sound like they will sell good in my group.
Like all new product lines Vivo has problems in production and higher than normal scrap. If Miller killed a product line for that they wouldn't be making anything. It takes time to work out the bugs. I hear sales of Vivo are going well and that means to me it is something the office furniture market is looking for. Rarly does a product make money in it's first year or so
