I see...it appears I was not adjusting for the exchange rate. You are correct. Thanks for the clarification.

The .39 dividend is not the extraordinary dividend, but is the May dividend that is just now getting paid out. Again the first installment of the "extraordinary dividend" will be about .87 with another .48 coming in September/October. Total dividends for 2014 would equal .39 (regular) + .87 (extraordinary) + .48 (extraordinary) + .61 (regular), totaling 2.35 / share. This is what I've seen on other sites. Is this correct? Please verify.

According to CEMIG's site the extraordinary dividend should be in .87 range (not .39) with another .48 coming by the end of September, plus the .61 that was issued the other day (with no pay date, but an ex-date of July 7 (as I understand it). I've had others say the ADR are about 10 days behind the Brazilian dates. I hope that plays out, as I plan to buy more on a dip. With this company's policy of paying out 50% of profits as dividends, I see no reason to sell at this time, as I believe it can go to $11-12 a share in the next 12 months or so. We'll see.

At its meeting today, June 27, 2014, the Board of Directors decided to pay extraordinary dividends of
R$ 1,704,000,000.00 (one billion seven hundred four million Reais),
corresponding to R$ 1.354228576 per share,
    in two installments:
R$ 1,100,000,000.00 (one billion one hundred million Reais)
corresponding to R$ 0.874208588 per share, by July 8, 2014, and
R$ 604,000,000.00 (six hundred four million Reais)
corresponding to R$ 0.480019988 per share, by September 30, 2014.

I received the recent .38/sh dividend, but was under the impression that (part of) the extraordinary dividend was also to be paid out. Has anyone received the extraordinary dividend? Below is benefit description from CEMIG's investor site.
