Two additional Phase 2b multiple-dose studies of ARC-520 to be conducted in parallel.
The studies titled Heparc-2002 and Heparc-2003 will enroll patients with chronic HBV infection that are e-antigen (HBeAg) negative and HBeAg positive, respectively. Each study is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-dose study intended to evaluate two dose levels in parallel of ARC-520 in combination with entecavir or tenofovir in patients with immune active chronic HBV infection. The 2002 and 2003 studies are planned to enroll up to 60 and 90 patients, respectively. In each study, patients will be randomized to receive four doses, once every 4 weeks, of either 1 mg/kg ARC-520, 2 mg/kg ARC-520, or placebo at a ratio of 1:1:1.

ARWR got in under the wire regarding Chimp testing

    From NYT newspaper

All chimpanzees will be designated as endangered under the Endangered Species Act, the United States Fish and Wildlife Service announced Friday.

The move follows a petition filed in 2010 by Jane Goodall, The Humane Society of the United States and other groups to eliminate a longstanding distinction between the legal status of captive chimpanzees, which were previously listed as “threatened,” and their wild counterparts, which have been deemed “endangered” for decades.

TINY should sell the company if this is the best management can do. JMHOI

  • Look out for a hit piece from AF or his partners as they try to spin everything as being bad.
The naysayers insist nothing going to happen until AD day.
I not so sure we are going to have to wait that long.
I feel they will try to run ARWR into the five's this week .
That is the time to load up if you can.

Shorts and Funds will want to delay until October.
Funds and traders that shorted ARWR last October will receive long term capital gains tax treatment on 10/08/15 I believe.

Disclosure: I am short DRNA as a relative valuation short for my ARWR long position. DRNA has a slightly larger market cap than ARWR, but ARWR has a distinguished, more mature DPC pipeline with ARC-520 and ARC-AAT two attractive candidates in the clinic whereas DRNA has nothing in the clinic it apparently has confidence in. It's possible that both stocks are grossly undervalued, but relative valuation is one of my main RNAi investment methods and this is why I'm applying it here. Nothing personal.

  • The same story is being repeated over and over.

    The management sucks.
They are hiding something from us.
The log number is the most important thing ARWR has going for it.

The problem is none of this is true

Remember they wouldn't want your stock if these things were true.

    Now a reminder:

Sun Tzu's Rules of Institutional Accumulation
Buying requires selling. You have to spend money to make it. Be prepared to sell 3 shares to buy 5.
Sell ruthlessly just when the fog begins to clear.
Sell down to newly placed stop-loss orders after recent gains... you can trigger a selling cascade that builds downward with very little help.
Create uncertainty about news with counter-intuitive price moves.
Use and develop negative TA formations to add credibility to the downward pressure you are creating.
Retailers come in surges, and fade just as quickly. In the face of overwhelming buying, yield the field... temporarily. The next day will provide opportunity to walk it back down.
Patience patience patience. Persistent pressure breaks sentiment over time.

I always wonder who is selling?
Looks like they are taking it out of one pocket and putting it into another. Not real trading.

There are disturbing comparisons between what has happened to our large cities and the stock market.
One used to build up and support our neighborhoods as part of our lives.
Now the thieves and gangs are destroying our communities without fear of reprisal.
One used to invest in stocks as a way to secure one's future.
The stock market has become a casino controlled by Dark pools and Hedgefunds who use lies and deception to cheat investors.
Alas we have become a ghetto and I feel there is nothing I can do about this other than sell and go away.
That is my plan after this ARWR story comes to whatever end it does.

they are paid interest money on the stock they loan funds .
Then they get the stock back
The price they paid is not relevant in this case.
I feel the funds don't think ARWR will continue independently and will be bought out.
    Then the funds will have
    their big payday.

TINY hasn't done anything but pay people to set around and do nothing since he died.
Looks like the employees will bleed the company dry.
GLTA we are going to need it.

Looks like the funds own ARWR by having 70% of the float. I feel they know they have a block buster company in the near future. They loaned stock to their hedge fund pals so they could short it to nothing knowing they are not selling until they get the price they want. The hedge funds make money shorting then repay the borrowed stock. The funds chop up the retail 30% or so. Rinse and repeat until the right news comes out then they sell the company. Retail gets chopped up and the wall street crooks cut a fat hog.
