He did have a grasp on the future. While they saw sales slowing internally- for 2 quarters he assured us and the investment world everything was rainbows and candy bars. Remember the offering nonsense? Sales had been slowing, and they were losing contracts for weeks. Watch the stock price for everything you need to know. The fact that the stock is dead in the water now signals another miserable quarter toot sweet. Short it, and make money. Don't buy the BS.

If this was such an amazing company with unbelievable technology, Intel would shell out $190m and put this company out of its misery. They are not.

Is SILC in danger of shutting down?

Maybe not shutting down, but this is 2007 all over again. This time mgmt has fibbed repeatedly to shareholders and analysts about everything from phony offerings, to business prospects, to claims of new products doing well. Where are the new products and why aren't they selling? Why talk up Q4 when you were already seeing a slowdown in January? How can you miss a product launch for your biggest customer? How much $$ is this new unnecessary space costing? What about all the new employees sitting around with nothin to do? This is a broken company with a worse-off stock on the mother of all declines. Been waiting for the super bulls to show up and tell us that they got out at the pre-offering high, and that they warned everybody on the board to do so as we'll. just like they did in 2007. But they remain silent.

It seems there are 4 camps of people invested in SILC.

    1. Long term bulls who think Silicom's mgmt can do no wrong, and who are geniuses, and maybe think that this is a missed exit on the road to a billion dollar company. it's odd that they have been silent since the er was released. Would love to hear their comments.

    2. Long term bulls who are disappointed but seem to still trust mgmt and will stick it out for the longer term b/c of their belief in the business. They seem to give mgmt the benefit of the doubt no matter what they say.

    3. Long termers who are no longer bullish and see mgmt as deceptive and hostile in their attitude toward shareholders. We don't trust them and do not see the rosy scenario with this company anymore. From the bs comments about new normal, hit it out of ballpark, the offering, the silence, the phony analyst meetings, bs excuses about missed product launches, bs about growth is still there when it was not. The top customer needs a new version of a product and you're not ready for it??? Seriously? That's Bush league. I guess I am in this camp with Larry and see better uses for my cash.

    4. Shorts, newbies, etc. Though annoying and entertaining, they were right about stock movement which I see continues to slide. I think this settles in the teens as there will no big rush to get in to a stock with no growth prospects. GLTA

    What Now?

I can't believe you longs acting as if this a blip on the radar, a temporary setback. Mgmt has just screwed all of us with this "surprise" of a product screwup, slowdown and disastrous guidance. Dividend still in place? Sure, go ask CKSW shareholders about that promise. Their credibility is gone. Last week in May they were trying to tell a good story about this company to analysts while sales were slumping and while losing customers. Q4 was "a whole new ball game". Lies. Everywhere you look, lies. Offering- lies to get share price down for their options. Rosy scenario painted after Q1 report of things going well? Lies. Do the math on guidance-68m. They already have about half that so 2nd 1/2 is flat. Eps way down. There is nothing positive to hold on to here. Open your eyes.

2007 redux. Offering/proposed offering at high. Mgmt talks up prospects. Slowdown. Rinse, repeat. Absolutey no morals here.
