In fairness to the company, a payment was made following my last posting. Another payment is due today by wire transfer (Friday, July 15, 2011) under a schedule proposed by the company. I will advise whether this payment schedule is met. The account is still seriously delinquent but we will see if the company can follow up as promised and resolve this problem amicably. For details you may call me at 859-537-7121
Assets involved in recent Kentucky acquisition are subject to foreclosure due to eight month delinquency. This is no b.s. These guys keep putting us off, including this morning. Will advise if they pay. You can call me for details. 859-537-7121
Does this tell you something? The majority stakeholder couldn't get more than $11.00 per share. Maybe that is because the company is only worth $11.00 per share. Just a month ago or so, the stock was under $9.00 and deserved to be. Also, keep an eye on the litigation. There is no upside to it.
At some point in the morning trading, no one in the world would pay more than $92.85 for EBAY. Within the next few trading sessions, possibly even this afternoon, I predict no one will pay more than $90.00 for a share.
Due to "lofty valuations" Argus research recommends a HOLD on EBAY. This is a good company that has a business model that makes money. The problem is: the stock is selling for 95 times more than the company earns. Even if EBAY makes its numbers for next year, it would be selling for almost 50 times what it will have earned. This bubble is going to burst soon.
Getting close to 100-1 PE Ratio. Also, have you ever looked at all of the unsold listings on Ebay? Sometime soon, the novelty of dealing with ebay will wear off, especially for those that list, pay a fee, and don't end up with a buyer for their products. I have bought some puts and I expect to cash in when ebay drops a few bucks over the next day or so. The decline has already started.
Of course I'm short!!! If the bank insiders -- the people who have the best handle on the future prospects for the institution -- are sellers at recent levels, why should anyone else believe that the stock will appreciate anytime soon? Real simple. I take the signals from the people "in the know."
Look at all the inside selling that has been going on by the officers of the company and others. This is not a good sign for long term holders of FTN. Seems like a good time to short it or buy some puts. It wasn't that long ago that this stock was in the teens and low 20s.
based on price in April of 1999. If last April's
price of $40.00 was reasonable and earnings are running
25% under same Q last year, then the stock price from
last year should be reduced by only 25%. Remember, no
change in the company's dividend policy. Also fed rate
rise of 50 bps is already factored into the market.
Could we be just a few weeks from $30? That would be a
50% rise from current levels.
WWFE longs. WWFE can only benefit from this one. Good publicity too when major players are fighting over the asset. Look for $20 within the next few trading days.
as the DJIA, NSDQ, S&P gets clobbered. This is a
good sign. FTN is the beneficiary of "flight to
quality." Also, some of the FTN selling could have been due
to margin calls. Hang in there if you are long FTN.
If not, get ya some!
