LOL, expert advice from another delusional long.
It's not about the facts anymore, Biff. Do this long enough, and you'll learn that hits like this to a company's rep are often fatal events. They won't recover from something like this - and add to that the need to defend yourself against (soon to be) hundreds of lawsuits, and you've got a company that will certainly be driven into bankruptcy. After that all bets are off.
Keep holding for the turnaround. To each his own. I don't do the back and forth message board thing, but you are welcome to buy more. Bargain price now, huh? :)
By the way, the CFO and CEO leaving should tell you something, if nothing else has by now. McFly, McFly!!! :)
Best of luck.
My postings here in real-time back in early March should fill you in (started at $43) and I said often that I would be covering half the position down near $20) and the balance much lower still. So far my many predictions on $LL have been dead on.
At this point, any significant pops will indeed cause me to short some more (I'm actually hoping for some rebound). So far, so good. I'm very happy with the trade.
Best of luck.
LOL, you got your "update" - the CEO resigned. and the founder is back in the saddle. Prior to that, they "updated" you with the news that they were stopping selling Chinese laminate. The problem is that all of the "updates" portend a disastrous future. Anyone who can't see this is in serious denial.
You need to learn when to bail on a bad investment, instead of continuing to average down while the ship is sinking.
Sorry for your losses. Limit them while you can, because the share price will be cut in half again from where it is today - my guess is it will be $10 or below within 30-60 days. By the time they file for bankruptcy protection (a certainty, imo) the price will be nearing zero.
Care to amend those two statements? :)
Thank you, NQ - for being one of the most dishonest of the dishonest. My wallet also thanks you.
Once again, delusional longs taking the bait and grabbing up shares.
What's the over/under on this time the pop actually being sustained? (hint: take the under, lol)
Still short, and still lovin' it. Added to the position, too. :)
Yeah, right. That's why it still can't even hold $4.00. You dummies fall for the gap trap every single time. Unbelievable. You'll be lucky if it even stays GREEN today.
You lemmings slay me, lol.
Still short, and McLovin' it. :)
Well done on the construction industry alliteration - very apropos. :)
But it will be a long wait for your side, of this I am sure.
Let's chat again in a couple of months. Until then, best of luck.
And bid it up for no reason, only to get their hat handed to them. When will they ever learn?
Sorry longs. Nothing's changed. Writing still on the wall. March sales was confirmation, and it's only the beginning.
See you down near $20.
He hasn't been credible for quite a while now. He just likes to stir things up, bully people, and brag about how he beats up on his cyber-haters. He's worthless as a reporter.
And, he should know better - he must know that Icahn would never, ever, ever get into this from the long side. Icahn is a smart guy, and a long position in this stock at this time cannot be defended. Period.
Sorry, longs. Facts are facts.
Search for "drury lumber liquidators" for the class action suit details. All HD and LOW samples, as well as LL "made in the USA" samples, have passed. All 300 of the LL Chinese samples have failed. How this is going to play out doesn't take a genius.
Don't fall for today's bait with this pop, unless you want to punish yourself.
Still short, and still confident.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Shorted a bunch more here at $48.22.
Laugh all you want, delusional longs. I'm a happy camper!!
Best of luck.
As shown in the previous threads detailing my shorts, I've already covered and made significant profits, so I'm working with house money now. And yes, conviction is the right term. That's what I have in spades, and that's why I keep adding when it pops like this - cuz as has been shown repeatedly, it always comes back down. Retail longs get swept up, go for the bait and bid it up, then get left holding the bag when the bait is withdrawn and the pros take their profits. I'm not worried a bit.
Best of luck.
Already did, read the whole thread (added at $35). I know where it's going (down) so any significant pops over $30 will probably lead me to add even more (though I doubt that will even happen again, though I could be wrong). Hard to resist the temptation when you know that the hit to sales will be huge (see next qtr's report) and what the resultant drop in share price will be along the way.
Taunt me all you want, but I'll see you near $20. Guaranteed. Been doing this 30 years. And pretty good at it, too. :)
Best of luck.
You can't possibly believe that. Methinks the hopium has taken over. Get some professional help. :)
I'm in hog heaven, y'all!! As promised, have shorted more here at $40.72-$40.74.
Mo' money, mo' money, mo' money......
Much love and luck to all. :)
LOL, nailed it!!! Didn't even have to wait a couple of days. Immediate results - booyah!
It might be volatile today (options expiry), but next week it's downward ho. :)
Thank you, thank you very much.
Funny how this is being bid up, despite the big picture being (still) solidly bad. That's fine, let the lemmings bid it up like usual, so us shorts can short more. All I can say is thank you, thank you very much. :)
Enjoy it while it lasts. Tomorrow's close will likely be below today's close, when all is said and done. If not tomorrow, surely within a couple of trading days.
Best of luck to all.
