I follow biotechs and you r 100% correct. GALE INO ACAD CLDX STML KERX ONVO (goodies) and OPK ZLCS SNTA (not so much) are my investments. This is the future winning place to be but will experience ups and downs, like all sectors do, and is currently being rotated out of as institutes pull $ profits at yr end. Imo
IF the BBs did sell you wouldn't see the filing yet anyway. I'm holding or possibly buying ore if it goes down much more and I've got 30k shares now. This will be retirement portion WHEN it goes much higher. GLTA
Link?????? What site???? Are you a liar????
Sometimes you can pay people (especially folks who feel they are worthy - read highly educated, scientific types) less for a title (SVP, VP, etc). So you give someone a nice title and a reasonable salary, throw in some options and a few grants to incent them to join a risky, less secure company (read new company or new technology). Just a guess - IMO
It does seem that Bios are out of favor today. Down stocks include STML, ACAD, IDRA etc - all solid bio plays. STML and ACAD are significantly off highs of pre-DC mess. GOOG pop could be dragging attention into Tech sector, it seems.
If the bios are simply a momo play then they won't bounce back so easily but if the fundamentals are there (and they are in the stocks mentioned) then this is more timing issue awaiting good news which will see a significant multi-day run up in ps. IMHO
You've been bashing under other names haven't you?? Careful. There are laws and not lawsuit awards against libel. Tread carefully!!!
The slide is crazy and will be proven false at next earnings after holiday season. K-cuos have solid prsence in Foodservice/coffee service mkts that doesn't show on IRI reports, that is the sell out gap the accting weiners yell about.
Hate to admit I think you're right. Good time to cut loses and jump back in on way up. Holiday season should prove profitable. WF and knock-ffs will not cause the kind of pain the pps is showing. Fear, and I'm probably going to be one. We'll see what tomorrow brings. UGH!
