Then please use the proper personality. Asian mysteriously becomes Hensley and looses his accent every so often. By the way do you know who Shirley Ardell Mason was? ;)
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Nothing painful about that as we knew this was the case. I never anticipated a Christmas or Newyear JV announcement. Waiting a few more months for good news makes no difference to me as long as it comes. Which brings me back to a directory throwing half a mil in the game. The more important point here is that it occurred. When was the last time a insider spent half a million of their own money on Exel. I think if MM or Geisel put it in there might be a bigger interest on the purchase. I don't care if a directory, vp or ceo conducts the transaction as long as it happens.. ;) I am sure of this. If I was short it would worry the hell out of me and I would probably cover.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I was pondering the large buy that recently occurred by an exel insider. I wanted to post this topic to open up the floor to anyone with a intelligent perspective on the timing of this buy. This buy surprises me for a few reasons. One, I assume this directory already owns shares of exel provided by the company? Two, Why such an aggressive purchase at year end? Three, why not wait until the price settles lower than its current trading price? Four, does this create a foreshadow or future news of a buyout? If your expecting a small jump in price why not wait till new year? Very interesting purchase I dont think is getting the proper attention. Where there is smoke there is usually a fire.
All the peeps that needed out by year end have now gone away. Smart money rode it down and helped it along. Shorts that are not in the know are still trying to figure out if they should cover. The tell for me was this. Share price rose at end of day yesterday. Decreased short interest update. News articles come out praising exel like the motley fools. The dog and pony show continues. The new year will bring about a sharp rise in share price IMO. Read between the lines and keep it simple. Good luck to all.
In the words of the great RED FOX. "Shut up ya big dummy!!"
Seman / Wilder any guesses on the sharp bounce upward for CLVS? At some point greed will kick in and shoot her back up... When exel hit rock bottom around 1.30's I picked up shares and then it rallied. Thoughts on possibilities for CLVS.
