As the word or is used to connect words or phrases of equal rank, its use in describing the invention invalidates the patent because a specific chemical formulations wasn't identified. Its kind of like patenting an alkane with 2-20 carbons in a single chain for use as automobile fuel....octane is gasoline and it has eight carbons
