You are way late to the party on the "not a real company" line...that was the line at a buck. RINO and others are gone, CREG survives and thrives. We all know about how they came public. Now we are looking at partnerships and revenue and acute visibility of the recurring revenue model. Nobody lends 46 Million to a fake company. Nor do major parts suppliers take stock for compensation of a fake company.
And would the esteemed Carlyle Group hold stock for dam near ten years in a fake company? Don't think so.

Real retail shorts when they do show up, will need to do much better.
    lol

  • An exit here, if you are anything other than a day or swing trader, will surely have you chasing this into the high 4's after earnings...

This clearly has a high "show me" discount built into the price.
    But for how long?

  • China Recycling Energy's CEO Discusses Q4 2014 Results - Earnings Call Transcript
    Mar. 26, 2014 1:21 PM ET | About: CREG

    Excerpt from news..
    "
As the first mover in waste energy market in China, CREG has always been committed to providing energy recovery solution package to those heavy industrial companies providing for the full financing leasing arrangements, construction, integration, and in some cases operation of this energy saving systems for the largest of industrial times.

The strong support by the government allows us to move further and faster in the new energy market. In 2013, besides operating our existing projects, we’re focusing on developing new Coke Dry Quenching of CDQ project incorporated with several large enterprises.

With higher requirements of energy saving and large scale application of coke carbons, CDQ is the trend in the future for the industry. CREG will seize this opportunity and expand our market share in this new area."

They need to do better about letting us US investors in on their conference calls. I think the media has a bit of a black out on Chinese news. First I saw of this call this morning was the transcript. Better late than never I guess.

Take away is clear. They dominate the space, the government backs them. Win Win Win. The government, CREG, and the people.

With increased coverage by the US, the sky is the limit for this security.

  • I love to see stepped up FUD.

Time is not the friend of the MMs who float phantoms in the millions.

At some point, they need to find those shares. They are hoping the recent volume was mostly weak hands. They further hope that this has not gained increased visibility by institutions, like Calpers that made an astute investment in this investment grade emerging gorilla in the Clean Energy Space.

This company has the backing of a sovereign nation, a nation that is not a net debtor nation like one we know. ;-)

Pro shorts spend money to find money, but ultimately have to cover those phantoms.

This is why I like to dollar cost average, to buy along side those desperate MMs looking for volume that doesn't exist during consolidation periods.

Today's lower volume is Bullish for CREG.

Actually CREG trades like it knows if you are an investor or a swing trader. It does not like fast money. It will smoke out the weak and the stop loss setters and the day traders. When there is nothing left to shake, and volumes slows to a trickle and you can safely estimate the total cleansing, is when it becomes accumulated by investment seeking value folks. So as long as their is fast money still in it, it will flush them out...

20 million share float, burning away.

Unlike PLUG, that loses money on every unit, whose loss increases with all those increased orders; CREG is an 8lb gorilla on its way to 800lbs, as it helps solve China's pollution and energy shortage problems with one blow. This is still quite early in the game. First stop China, next stop the world, and hopefully before we lose all of Greenland's ice, and coastal cities around the world. The opportunity here is quite vast, and "patented"...

    Short interest update....down about 40k to 255,643

It would be nice if the data was current to right now, after a 6 million share day yesterday, and a 1 million share day today. Now last time we had a significant up day, the PPS went to $4.60 on a green candle, and closed near the high. This time we consolidated off the high and pulled back from $6.05 to a close of $5.03, with a long tail. We followed through today with a steep close off %10.34 to close at $4.51. We covered in 2 days, what we covered in almost two weeks before, and the volume before was little drips and drabs. I think this time we have wider exposure, more folks who know of CREG and larger players who will know the value. If we keep this kind of volume up, CREG could mount a run on new highs in much less time than it took prior.

Pullbacks from this point represent ideal accumulate opportunities as they did last time.

Buy on the dips, dollar cost average, and hold onto this emerging gorilla, that will dominate the energy recycle space. Shorts big argument last time was the company wasn't real. Now their argument is you can't believe the numbers. The air in short land is running pretty thin me thinks. lol. 7 million shares traded of a 20 million share float, in two days suggest a large short position. I doubt they borrowed that many so I think its mostly Market Makers and program traders floating phantoms. They have to make good on those FTDs in 13 days. So hold on for the ride. PLUG squeezed damn near 50% today, on the company talking about future big orders. Well their business model is challenged. Our little quiet Chinese company is obviously not a pumper, it just brings home the bacon. So pressured contraction of CREG shares are like gold bars in the Texas equivalent of fort knox...lol.

I have to agree with this one. The short position was not that high. We have had no real pump for Joe retail investor yet, and the volume is significant. This is smart money accumulation ahead of some knowledge.

    Sounds fine to me...

We are in the base of the handle on a nice Cup and Handle formation. I have the guts but don't have the money...And of course I have no margin credit from TD Ameritrade. They are really pulling as many shares as they can on this one. Sometimes its hard holding stocks that too many big players would like to see at cheaper prices. The only way I know to combat it is to benefit by it. Worse thing you can do is be shaken out...If we are still here this time next year we can all laugh about the good old days under $3...

CREG is quite efficient. Early purge of fast money and weak hands, is what the doctor ordered.
Lucky retail shorts should cover here with the Market Makers, or fuel the next advance.
I first posted this at $2,89. Today it stands at $4.48 down from a high after earnings of $6.05.

    Don't be greedy.

  • Dude, I'm not sure if you are just a retail short gone astray, or a paid basher, or believe you just want to protect us from CREG. Fact is you cite a "made up" article with company names never associated with CREG. I'm not going to bother to rebut you point for felonious point, but let me make 3: what I consider proof points of your obfuscation for gain on this message board:

    1. You reference a company called "Goodrich Technology" as the predecessor name of a company that changed its name to China Recycling Energy. Well the company on their website and in their SEC filings lays out their complete history and never mentions a Goodrich Technology. And by the way Chinese is too easily translated with today's technology.

    2. You imply that this company duped one of the most prestigious firms, connected and powerful(government connect by the way), in the world, the Carlyle Group since or in, 2007. Just not possible. And if they were fake why would CG hold share through Dec 31, 2013? And for that matter how did they dupe these other institutions:
"Owner Name Date Shared Held Change (Shares) Change (%) Value (in 1,000s)
    CARLYLE GROUP L.P. 12/31/2013 12,465,938 0 0.00 45,251
    INVESCO LTD. 12/31/2013 287,951 287,951 New 1,045
    RENAISSANCE TECHNOLOGIES LLC 12/31/2013 154,300 24,900 19.24 560
    CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM 12/31/2013 150,783 0 0.00 547
    BANK OF AMERICA CORP /DE/ 12/31/2013 16,776 16,776 New 61
    MORGAN STANLEY 12/31/2013 1,076 1,076 New 4
    CITIGROUP INC 12/31/2013 1,046 1,026 5,130 4"

    3. Last point, you mentioned they went from 30M shares to 60M shares in 3 years. Well the facts are in 3 years they went from 56M in 2011, to 60M today. 2012 51M after a 5M buyback. And why only 1+M revenue in 2012? Surely a scammer would fake more, no?

As "a scam", they are a stock $3 in 2010,at $1+ for years, with a recent run back over $3 2013, spike to $6 in 2014, pathetic slow moving incompetent scammer! Check PLUG for how it's done.

Shorty is working hard looking for a repeat of last earnings post action.

Instead this will continue to attract institutional investors more than willing to accumulate during the weak hands shakeout.
