See for yourself. BankUnited and ya_gotta are
right. Right there in the 4th line from the bottom it
    says:

"products and services, the ability to successfully
integrate acquired companies, control of costs and
expenses, this is a joke you idiots, international
    growth,"

How many times are people warned on this board that
it's JUST an OPINION board? There are kids that post
on these boards, for God's sake..

accuse me of being this scam artist. Why don't you go fack off?

like the false press release from floydian_us,
then I don't feel sorry for any of you. Anything
written on these boards is considered strictly "opinion"
in nature. If you saw all the bullshit and false
stock promotions that occur on these message boards
everyday, this fake news release looks like a cake walk.
He's entitled to do it, and you have to confirm
stories that you read here. Otherwise, you might end up
    believing them.

do, but there's nothing anyone can do. Anything

If you read the Terms of Service at the top of
any of the YAHOO message boards, you'll see that
floydian_us has done nothing illegal. Also, have you
forgotten about this line that also appears above the
    message boards?

    "These messages are only the
opinion of the poster, are no substitute for your own
research, and should not be relied upon for trading or any
    other
    purpose."

    Floydian_us, or any other poster
for that matter, can post as many fake newswires as
he wants. It does not violate any of the rules, and
anything written on these boards is considered strictly
opinion in nature. I'm a lawyer, and I hate to tell you
all this, but...sorry, boys. If you're dumb enough to
believe even half the bullshit that comes across these
boards everyday, you don't belong here, let alone in the
    stock market.

It is now at the same price it was at before the merger with MCI Worldcom was announced. What gives?

  • kahuna_and_the_brain kahuna_and_the_brain Mar 22, 2000 4:16 PM Flag

This is a no-brainer buying opportunity.

  • kahuna_and_the_brain by kahuna_and_the_brain Mar 22, 2000 3:57 PM Flag

Sure. According to CBS News Marketwatch, a Lucent
spokesman says they have not changed their guidance for the
quarter. OF COURSE they haven't. But that doesn't mean
THEY WON'T. Stay tuned. Something tells me things are
going to get a whole lot worse before they get
    better.

Looking for a Bottom in Palm
    By James J.
    Cramer

    3/22/00 1:55 PM ET

    Can
    Palm (PALM:Nasdaq - news - boards) bottom
    here?
Next week is initiation week, and it would
    seem
that this stock has already seen its fill of

    decline.

I am conscious that people really swear
by their Palms, but this stock has about
    the
worst combination of bad holders, from people who paid
    $160 to Eric
    Benhamou, the value destroyer,
    himself.

What do you think? Matt "Palm of My
    Hand" Jacobs says it's
a go here. Me, I am scared
to death. I put it to you, the readers:
    Does
    Palm bottom here?

    Random musings: Standard
    Lucent (LU:NYSE - news -
    boards) preannouncement
rumor running around. I think it is
    false, but I
can't pull the trigger, especially with Todd
    Harrison,
our trader, heading west for a nuclear physicists
    conference.
