    Tax Status of ORI Dividend

It is a qualified dividend that next year will mean you are taxed at your regular income tax rate, what ever that it. In 2011 my qualified dividends, because of the BUSH TAX CUTS, were only taxed at a max. of 15% which was quite a bit less than my income tax rate. You could have reduced it to 0% or 5% if you had a very low adjusted income tax rate. This all still applies for 2012 dividends because the BUSH TAX CUTS do not end until 12/31/2012. Others dividends you might have heard about that are tax fee now only apply to dividends on options type plays in some ETFs and other funds if it is truly a return of equity because it is something like a COVERED CALL PLAY. That dividend is tax free because it is considered a partial return of equity now but could costs you more later when you sell the fund because it reduces you BASIS which could increase you tax reported gains while you actual payout could be less when the fund is sold. I hope this answers your question.

All you are doing now is CRYING. That was not my goal. I just wanted people to know what they were getting. I assume since there have been NO comments – nobody cares and/or they know what they are getting when they read your comments. SO BE IT. Yes, I do TRADE successfully. I even teach people how to trade. And my biggest GOAL in teaching is helping PEOPLE NOT LOSE MONEY.

I do not PUMP AND DUMP because I do not have to. There are so many good TRADING stocks, why waste my time on PUMP AND DUMP.

I do not/nor have I every Day-Traded ORI. ORI is a good place to park money and get a good dividend especially in comparison to what BANKS are paying. ORI is not a good Day Trading stock because it has too little volume, too little size on the BID and ASK SIDES and the TRADINGG RANGE is too small. With ORI you could not cover your fees much less make a living. That little bit of DAY-TRADING information is for FREE. I will not even charge you. I don’t want you to CRY ANYMORE.

In my 30 year working LIFE I interviewed more than 5,000 people and have done HR consulting because I am very good at evaluating people. I feel because of that experience I can figure out people very quickly. I really have met and talked to AL. I have attended stockholder meetings and been in breakout sessions with him. He is a good manager of people and a good money man. He really wants to pay THAT DIVIDEND. He wants the price per share and the dividend to grow every year. I believe that and I believe him because I have gotten to know him a little bit at a time. So QUANTUON – HOW MANY STOCKHOLDER MEETING HAVE YOU BEEN TO? HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU TALKED TO AL ONE ON ONE? PLUS WHY DO YOU NOT WANT TO TALK ABOUT HOW MANY SHARES YOU OWN? WHAT IS YOUR AGENDA? OR DO WE ALREADY KNOW.

I have not posted much over the years because I did not have the time plus I did not feel I needed to. I am like a lot of people - I always hope for the best. I was hoping for the SPECIAL DIVIDEND and thought it would come only because of past history. I was wrong. I posted my HOPE and nothing else.

The BIG BOYS do READ THESE MESSAGE BOARDS and maybe READING QUANTUON is why KAHN reduced their position or maybe they just needed to take some profits and/or tax loses and get back in at a lower price. But, please go to this sight/holding page and you will see that KAHN is not the biggest BOY. Plus the BIGGEST BOYS actually increased their positions because they paid no attention to QUANTUON – thank God.

Please do what I do and listen to all the conference calls. The same Analysts are always there. They ask very good questions and continue to give ORI good ratings. Check this out.

So I guess they do not care what QUANTUON thinks either and maybe this MESSAGE BOARD SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THAT.

So, I ask everyone on this board to judge for yourself. My only goal is – PLEASE DO NOT LOSE ANY MONEY. That is what I teach. Please do a good job of researching everything you can, so you don’t lose any money. And please keep this in mind when you read what everyone says especially on these Message Boards. Figure out who is helping and who is hurting your style of INVESTING and/or TRADING especially if some one has a lot to say but owns NO SHARES in the stock they know so much about.

I hope everyone knows who is who. QUANTUON IS NEGATIVE AGAIN. I am buying. Other than talking a lot and saying nothing important, where is QUANTOM putting his money. And as I make more cash daily TRADING, I am going to buy again. Like I said, I like the 8%. I like to park cash in ORI. Plus, it appears QUANTON has never looked at a CHART. All the chart indicators say that ORI is going up. Two short term stops are $9.20 and $11.08 and then it can keep going up. In case QUANTUON does not know, THE BIG BOYS buy based upon a chart. So, please everyone check that out and think before you listen to QUANTUON.

S0 now I know. QUANTUON owns no shares of ORI. Says what he says so the stock will go down. If he does anything, he probably SHORTS ORI. So I hope everyone on this MESSAGE BOARD reads this and understand what QUANTUON is. He is not your friend. He is not trying to help you with unbiased information. If you are an INVESTOR, QUANTUON wants you to lose money on your investment. Nothing he says is benefitting you. He is sending the message that ORI needs to be SHORTED. And believe me on this, the BIG BOYS, the Investment Houses that own large BLOCKS of ORI read this and it effects the VALUE OF YOUR investment. All QUANTUON is doing is causing you to lose money. So, keep this in mind when you read what he says. By the way, I do own more than 10,000 shares of ORI and have for more than 20 years. I am an INVESTOR in ORI and am happy to be one. I park money in ORI because where else can you get 8% on you money. I buy and sell my position as the price goes up and down. I like the dividend. Yes, I even like Al. I have met him and talked to him. I trust him. I know he is doing the best he can to run his company well . I know he is concerned about me as LARGE SHAREHOLDER and he really wants to keep paying that dividend. He likes continuing the 40 year success of continuing to pay THAT DIVIDEND. So, please, everyone on this MESSAGE BOARD keep this in mind when you read what QUANTUON SAYS. HE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. He is against you if you are an INVESTOR.

I will try again. QUANTUON - HOW MANY SHARES DO YOU OWN - LONG? I think a lot of us want to know. You only have NEGATIVE comments. You have so much to say and none of it is positive. You make it out like you know what upper management is thinking. You have as much as said you do not believe them because YOU JUST KNOW AND WE SHOULD LISTEN. So you have nothing good to say. So, how many shares to you OWN - LONG? I think it is a fair question. You have such a strong opinion. In the US we have the freedom of speech. I support that freedom. I also support the freedom to not listen. So, what is your agenda? HOW MANY SHARES DO YOU OWN - LONG? Whar or who are we listening to? So do you own even one share - long or are just talking like this so you can SHORT THE STOCK. It is amazing you can talk so much and just will not answer that simple question. HOW MANY SHARES DO YOU OWN LONG? I want to make sure that everyone who reads this get this answer.
