Well it's clear some hedgy is trying very hard to dump and break $0.30 but someone with heavy hands is there catching all the shares. I wonder if an interest big pharma company is accumulating. This has been the same pattern for a couple weeks now, only seemingly more desperate attempts are being made to break $0.30.

By "this" what exactly are you referring to? Their 100+ patents, one of a kind FDA approved drug, large production manufacturing facility, or ever expanding uses for interferon products? Any of those?

Perhaps I would be worried if this was a significant investment of mine. But it's not. Like I said, worth the bet and I can hold out as long as necessary. Besides, they have more than their market cap vale in real estate, equipment and patents. Worse case they get acquired for par value. Carter doesn't seem like a guy who's willing to file bankruptcy which is evidence by his 20 year investment in the company. Also, I'm not fooled by what I'm seeing when the price goes down. I know who's buying those shares. You probably do too.

Let's not forget it trended down for 14 trading days after the jump from $0.19 before heading up to $0.55. The more I read into this stock, the more I feel foul play has been riding this stock down for a long time. How could the FDA need more imperial evidence that Ampligen works? They approved other drugs with far less efficacy, far more side effects and far less treatable patients. Ampligen has shown promise in combating multiple diseases which looks scary to big pharma and this billions in potential profit loss had a miracle drug come in to play. Ergo, 20 years worth of fake lawsuits, endless short selling, hired bashers, and government officials with dirty hands all bent on destroying a company with a drug ahead of its time, just to appease their own greedy nature. Who sits on a yahoo message board as long as some of these guys have bashing a stock, and for mere pennies. There's not that much profit on the downside, it's all on the way up. But if you're a trillion dollar pharma company, you can afford to pay some losers to trash a message board for many years to protect your threatened profits. Very unfortunate for the suffering that this drug has a documented history of helping.

  • Unless your as big as Enron and the bubble bursts at the peek of success. This company is being forced into oblivion by bigger competitors over a long period of time. Good thing Carter is willing to put up a good fight and for a long time. Still worth a small bet.

Unfortunately the Trillion dollar pharmaceutical companies would loose a great deal of money if this technology became mainstream via smaller companies furthering it's development. (ergo HEB) So those trillion dollar companies invest a few million into silencing news, shorting stock, and hiring relentless, mindless bashers to inundate message boards with irrelevant and smearing posts scaring investors away until the company becomes oblivion. In an extremely unfortunate set of events, a major disease that threatens the world has the right people asking the right questions and vitality is renewed in a still stable and effective medicine. No bashers post will deter the US Army or other governmental bodies from choosing what sounds bad vs. actually works.

If you knew the future than you wouldn't be posting on yahoo message boards over a $70 market cap company. You should have been rich a long time ago.

  • It's soo apparent that somebody is trying to pull the legs out from under this stock. Yet it make no sense for a hedge fund to risk the losses by shorting if good news were to some out. Obviously they can only double their money shorting it down, but the upside is 4X to 100X. It doesn't make any sense to short it with those upside numbers and they could just as easily pay pumped to promote the stock as they could the obvious paid bashers here. This only leads to 1 other suspect.. Competition. They know the drug works but they can't let the rest of the world know or it will significantly impact their profits. I believe they will either force this comps into bc, or force it to point at which it will be sold for pennies on the dollar so that "they" may take over this rights.

Bashers seem to discount the fact that we're still trading over the lows. The stock has been forced down more than 25% over the last 5 days for no particular reason. The spread and trading activity has been more obvious of manipulation than I have ever seen. I've seen the spread go as low as .00005 and typically .0001. It's impossible for retail investors to trade on those small scales, and why should they? A $5000 investment would only save you $0.50 between the ask price and the bid. I've witnessed both the ask and the bid bounce between multiple points in a 1 cent range within a second and repeat until the .0001 spread can be achieved. This is clearly manipulation and desperate manipulation at that. Volume and moneyflow is way up so someone is obviously buying back shares as quick as possible. Seems to me a run is imminent and whomever has been in control of taking down this stock for many years is eager to get out soon.

If you actually bought shares (which by the nature of your post you most likely did not) then you haven't been here long which means you're only in it for a quick buck anyway. Alternatively there are real investors on this board that believe in the technology and the charts. Even if you don't believe in the technology, the chart shows a double bottom, higher highs and higher lows, increased volume and moneyflow. You're being deceptive and dumb, either way, bye.
