and oil priced both doing well. Maybe we can find some buyers this afternoon. Don't see any reason for this continued sell off other than the drop in oil prices. Hopefully that is not what is keeping KOG negative as those prices may stay down for quite a while.
not the first time. Made a bunch so not complaining. Gambled on the big pay day and lost. Maybe with the remainder!?!?!?!?!?!?
That's the feeling in the patch too, but many of the "experts" outside the patch say not so. I am not sure but it certainly looks like oil will hit $90 to me. Time will tell. Hopefully it holds there if it does. But lower oil should help the economy which should cause more oil usage, so can't be all bad.
Guess when I am down almost $20000 a day after poor earnings it seems odd for someone to tell me earnings don't matter. I think they do matter. I think the market has backed that thought up today. Just my 2 cents.
So what you're saying is since the analysts did not ask questions about earnings at the CC today earnings don't matter. In that case, it should be obvious that there was NO sell off today and the price has only gone up since the "earnings" announcement.
Did you miss today's actions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????????? Earnings missed and it has been hit hard. That is the only METRIC that has mattered today. We will see if this continues.
The question is WHEN will that be? As oil prices fall those days get further in the future. Maybe KOG has put themselves in a position where they won't make strong profits for many years because of their huge amount of debt. I don't have the answers, but those questions NEED to be answered, not by theory, but via actions before KOG roars. JMHO.
understand. I don't get it, only stock I own that does this.
IF if was a near 50% miss on a 5% revenue beat then something is wrong. Can't wait to hear the CC results.
I can say that many of the people in the patch say $90 oil is coming. I see all sorts of agruements both ways, but that seems to be the feeling with all the people/sectors/companies in the oil patch.
But I don't think that will be too hard on KOG with their new production. But it will certainly keep them from reaching a higher price if oil is above $100.
shall see if the stock price rights it self. Need clarity on the "redundantcy" statement in the PR in my opinion.
Do they not have the ability to sell the Rochelle gas? It has me confused and somewhat worried.
Somebody's fixing to take it in the shorts, and I am betting it is not the longs. Must admit I am surprised by this.
