Good thing I did not short this stock.
Do you remember a post from a long time ago when he said that aliens were coming down to earth to destroy all of Zero's properties? That post made me laugh and was actually pretty creative.
Up another .75 cents today.
David, I do not even talk about the other poster now. It is not worth the effort.
For what it is worth, my REIT shares of SIR and SNH have been doing great the past few weeks!
The market tanks and O is up another $1.20 today.
Agreed. When the chips are down, investment grade rated REITs like O are standing tall. Some of my other REITs have also gained in value since last Friday. Strong dividend payout records certainly help.
1) It will be sunny and in the low 80's next week in Pennsylvania
2) O will hit another 52 week high
3) My brokerage account will collect a massive amount of dividends/interest
4) Brexit will provide some good investment opportunities next week - if smart investors can find them
Actually, I was just telling the board that RMR managed companies are going over to the Nasdaq and thought it was a good move to cut expenses. That is all my post was about. The NYSE is more expensive.
Best wishes with your anger management problems.
There is no possible way anyone could have made money shorting this stock over the past 5 years, especially with all of the dividends that need paid out when shorting a security.
Options on O have been very, very profitable over the past six months. It was nice to sell today at a very handsome profit. Thanks to the great management team there for getting the stock price up so high due to dividend increases.
Up over $66 today. Most investors here probably bought the stock in the 30's.
TA, Five Star, SIR, SNH and HPT are all moving over to the Nasdaq from the NYSE, so not just TA is moving. Sounds like a move to help cut administrative fees. Not quite sure what the NYSE charges to be listed there, but I know it is not cheap.
Paul, that is one of the reasons I like WPG in the high risk area of my portfolio. I think it is undervalued.
I think shares will see that price over the next 12-18 months. WPG trades at less than 3 times sales and is very profitable.
