So I should have stayed in cash? LOL, thanks for the advice. I'll take the 4.65% tax-free yield.
Do you even have any income to shield from taxes? I doubt it.
Wow, if the economy improves, then O will just raise rents to tenants. That could cause a dividend increase if rents go up high enough.
Well, that is the best I could do with municipal bonds today. It matures in 11 years, but I like the tax free yield of 4.65%.
I think PSEC is already priced for a dividend cut. If PRY drops on panic selling, I will be buying right away.
Wow, this will be a nice savings on the 6.75% they are paying out for the preferreds.
I thought MCQ was a good purchase today. Most of the loans of MCC are senior secured, so the bond would be a conservative play. The call date in 2015 should keep the issue near par value.
Interest income, plus safety of the original investment. My kind of investment. I'll buy more PRY if they get close to $25 if the market decides to panic over rising interest rates.
I've not gotten my first issue yet. I'll screen all of their stock picks.
How are your investments performing this year?
Sorry, I have not seen that abbreviation in the past. I'm not sure why you would not type out the last few letters.
This is a stock message board, so I am not certain why you are asking about the salaries of Social Workers. Is this your field of work? If so, I appreciate the work you are doing.
Of course I am not Paul. I'm Kaptain Lou.
Your spelling and grammar are poor. What do you mean "I think Paul would prob."? Plus, when starting a sentence, such as "marry you, if you asked him", the first word should be capitalized.
I used to get this newsletter a few years ago, but decided to subscribe again. Some of their investments are hit and miss, but maybe I will get a few good ideas from them.
Wow, you are good. Social workers provide a critical service in America and they should be paid wages that are higher.
Social workers are clearly underpaid, based on the valuable services they provide. I think they deserve a raise.
Too much of my portfolio is in REIT preferreds a I am looking to diversify a little bit. The stock market looks a little overvalued now, but think TAXI is probably fairly valued. Plus, every once in awhile I like to have a little fun in my portfolio.
