I probably own part of your mobile home park, but the management of SUI and UMH collect the rent for me.
UMH will finance a trailer for you, if you can scrap up enough for the down payment.
Looks like O is going to collect some more money on this one. Cha-ching !!!
Paul - they do not. I am guessing he may live in a single wide Skyline that he pays for with his Section 8 check.
Sure they do. One of my neighbors is a manager at an Amazon warehouse. They use both UPS and FedEx.
Ha, ha. Pretty hard to walk away from a 20 year lease guaranteed by the parent company.
Is that what you did - walked away from your mobile home when you got behind on the payments? It's not that easy for a corporation.
Recession resistant investments like Walgreens make O such a good company. Plus, their FedEx rentals really help as people do order a few products from Amazon.
I've owned Disney for years and years. Theatre rentals are only a small part of O's rental property business.
It's probably one of the wisest moves they have ever made. I grew up ready comics, long before there was cable and the internet.
I'm not sure I understand your comment. The WPG-H shares are a preferred stock holding in the company that owns real estate.
That happens to show a zero correlation between bond and REITs returns. Looks like my portfolio is fairly well diversified then.
Do you still shop at Lane Bryant for your wardrobe?
So you finally sold and took the loss like a man. Just remember, your capital losses are limited to $3,000 per year - so you will be taking that loss for the next 50 years.
