I am down 50% on my investment in this stock. I have a long time horizon and am wondering whether I should just hang on or whether I should sell at a 50% loss and use what's left to invest in something that might actually be going somewhere. Thoughts?
I'm not whining, per se, popps_long. I'm just frustrated that I seem to have managed to get myself somewhat heavily invested in a some stocks (e.g. EKSO, IDRA, NEPT..) just BEFORE they precipitiously lost share value, giving me a HUGE paper loss. I haven't sold anything yet and have even acquired more shares on dips. I, like everyone else on these boards, am looking for whatever scraps of knowledge, information I can from those who are more experienced and knowledgeable than I am.
I am currently unemployed and am no spring chicken so I'm concerned about sustaining such large paper losses.
That's the long and the short of it. No need to be so mean nor a conspiracy theorist - I'm not working for some 'short' firm or 'short' cabal or whatever. I'm just an individual retail investor.
@r_1901. Thanks for your response. how are those annual meetings? Interesting? .. do you think this stock will one day be a $30/share stock? in 5 years? 10 years? ever?
so, I know there are at least 3 or 4 longs.. (at least people who say they're longs) holding this thing waiting for something to happen.. it would be good to have some idea what the long term plan/roadmap was for this stock.. (well, for the drugs that the company is developing).
are there any longs here? if so.. what's the outlook long term?
