You can't fix, nor can you regulate stupidity. You wouldn't believe how many people believe
LinkedIn is an investment.
I have day traded in this scam market for over 16 years. The best trades are with smoke and mirror companies like LinkedIn. Take advantage of the clueless , greedy fools pumping money in and holding for that special day.
Oil is abundant and inexpensive for now. Alt energy will become that and be available for a lot longer than 150 years.
Credit bureaus don't care about income...it's not tracked. A billion or just one dollar income --doesn't enter the picture.
They do care a lot about your timely ability to repay debt; they don't care where the money came from. If you have a strong track record of timely repayment, you can buy a lot of things without a problem...but only up to a certain point. Problems arise when some lenders start digging into income to debt ratios etc. ie. opening new lines of credit, loans, real estate etc.
TESLA would still rule;it's second to none .... nobody buys a TESLA because of gas prices. Just poor schmucks who can't afford one. Maybe they'll be coming out with a $25 k model soon

Never meant to be a long-term hold.
