I'm not sure why everyone is so focused on Roche. There are at least 2 other companies that are extremely interested in PACB. If Roche was the only company, I'm sure the company would have been sold by now. Swiss could not be trusted! I believe PACB management is smart enough to know who they are dealing with. Roche would not be the best partner for PACB. American companies know much better how to scale the company to its highest potential. Even the currency situation in the deal with Roche would be a disadvantage to PACB. We'll soon find out.
24.3M shares and holding up all day and still up after market says the trend is up. The evidence must be strong enough to convince FDA to not only release the hold, but also approve the drog. This drug is needed badly in the market and as someone already mentioned, this was a $50 stock. Biotech turnaround is at hand and the follow through will take us to at least $18 until FDA response, then back to $50 shortly after.
Don't get it. Why would they liquidate now. Why would the impact be 10% daily. This is too big of a drop.
Just trying to make some sense of it.
This stock is irrationally low. The only reason I see is that the institutions are holding it low to cover their short positions. Once that is done, the uptrend will continue. Stock price will increase just as fast as it decreased. It's all a game and we are the lame ducks!
Mad Money is BS! They have no clue what they are talking about. A bunch of losers holding a job. They said that the options pricing moved huge today and will drive the price to 23.60. I have lost count of how many times they have been wrong. They destroyed Gopro because they were short. They all said buy when it was in the $40s, then said sell when it was $18. They are now killing TWTR and alike. They said buy Apple when it was at $118, now they are saying the company is broken when it's close to $100. URRRRRRR!!!
As a user of both devices, although Fitbit is not competing with the Apple Watch, it is much more superior to it, and is being sold at a much more reasonable price. The over reaction today was completely uncalled for. And now, we have all this wrong information on the board. It somehow feels like a total manipulation. The timing of the lawsuit was very questionable. The comments on Mad Money were completely bogus and nothing to do with fundamentals. This is a growth company with huge potential which is actually making a killing in the market with both the topline and the bottomline numbers. I am just amazed as to how the maket works. Guess who was buying all the shares that the scared retail investors were selling? And, why the news about the lawsuit published today? Just ask yourself that questions and you'll see.
Hellllooooo, patients with heart issues should not be doing extrenuouse exercises! It's their stupidity if they do. This device is for athletes who wish to monitor their activity. They don't really care about the exact numbers at different stages of their exercise. Close enough is good enough!
My Lord, look at the features. Look at the IBD report on everything the watch can do. It's a far superior smart watch than any device that is out today. And, it is offered at 30% of the Apple watch!
Apple should learn from FIT, and/or buy FIT IP for their overpriced, totally useless watch which only works when paired with your phone.
I see a lot of potential for this company. The stock price if totally manipulated. Unbelievable!
What the heck are you talking about? Have you bothered looking at their revenue and profits.
I'm buying here. The battery life of 5 days is a Apple watch killer. 18 hours vs. 5 days. The battery life was the reaon i returned my Apple Watch. This is a huge deal. Apple should learn from Fitbit. Plain and simple! Those selling into this panic selling/short attack will be sorry!!!!
I am of the belief that the company did not issue the initial suggested secondary because they know the price is going to go much higher in the very near future. And, I am of the belief that when they announce their big surprise, Christmas will come for Fitbit.
