Close but no cigar, maybe tomorrow?
It is up in after hours trading, with large volume, this has been happening more often lately, it's a positive sign, that's for sure.
"What's important is the PPS which is in terrible straights right now."
Maybe whats important is that this is a great opportunity to buy, it all depends on how you look at a situation, but in your case that would be always looking at the negative, and always looking for a scapegoat.
"If true, then there was fraud and, for fraud, they can put you in jail."
Black, are you speaking from your own personal experience with fraud?
Hound, I hope you're right about it going to $100, if not, then you're just an old hound dog, who's lost his sense of smell, and now just howls at he moon.
Well, I'll be darn, it's now barely above $3, I guess cheer-leading really does work, who knew? But will it stay above $3?
Maine, when Black runs out of toilet paper at home, he probably blames Dr Scarlett, too. It seems he always needs to have a scapegoat.
Black, your primary duty is to calm down. And it would help if you'd stop always blaming Dr Scarlett, and instead look at the truth, which is that he has done a remarkable job in bringing this company back from the dead.
Goon, I have not sold any shares, yet. And hopefully when I do sell, GERN will the hundreds range, even then I probably will not sell it all.
Shoe, people can go to Geron's website to contact investors relations.
There's no harm in calling, especially if you're a shareholder, because God only knows that these publicly traded companies are way to quiet.
Shoe, call whomever you want, but please, let us know if you find out anything worth while.
Shoe, contact J & J and ask them about the recent lawsuits being brought against them. Will they cause J & J to stop funding Geron's imetelstat trials? Now that would be bad for all us shareholders.
"the pharmaceutical company and its DePuy unit were ordered to pay $502 million to five plaintiffs who claimed they were injured by hip implants."
Now more than ever, they may need imetelstat to be successful to help offset these lawsuits.
How many lawsuits has this been lately for them? Just recently there was the talcum powder thing.
Black, it's you that does understand that Dr Scarlett took a huge gamble with imetelstat, something neither you or I would have the stomach to do. But the good thing is that J & J believes in imetelstat, too.
It's easy to sit on the sidelines always criticizing others, but nothing is ever gets accomplished by these negative tactics. It's the folks that are courageous enough to put everything on the line that get things done in this world, not the naysayers.
I am hero worshiping, just stating the facts, which are Dr Scarlett saved a drowning company after it dropped it's esc spinal cord injury trials, and put everything into a cancer curing drug, imetelstat. And this drug will eventually make or break the company. So he's put it all on the line with one drug, which takes a much larger backbone to do, than many of us on this board have.
Black, you keep looking at the past, and I'll keep looking to the future.
"but those risks have been absolutely been mitigated to the greatest extent possible by placing IMET in the hands of Jan/JnJ. "
To me, the above sentence shows that Dr Scarlett is very smart CEO, by pulling a drowning company, GERON, from the depths of despair, into being on the verge of a historical medical breakthrough with imetelstat.
Oh, if it works it's going to great for mankind, and for many of our pocket books, too.
