Darn, if imetelstat works then GERN could easily break the $100 barrier, but who knows it's worth if J & J buys them out? I believe that it'll go for far less than $100, if there is a buyout. The big question is, "How big will the imetelstat drug market be?"
Cheng, first we'd need to know the market for the imetelstat drug, $1B? &10B? $100B. I don't know how to figure out the actual worth of the imetelstat drug, do you? All I know is that Janessen(J&J subsidiary) is willing to do all the trial work, and give Geron approx. $900B for doing so. Maybe all J & J only wants to buy the imetelstat patents? It looks a pretty exciting time for Geron and it's imetelstat drug, that's if it works?
All I know is that the spike didn't last long, as usual, because no news just brings on more blues.
Without some good news this stock will keep us in the blues. Every time it nears 3 it backs down, making us all feel like lost clowns.
Oh well, hell's bell's, nobody forced us into buying, so there's no use in crying.
"SInce you idiots blame the CEO for every penny the stock drops, you have to credit him when it goes up, right?, idiots?"
Right! But I am not an idiot, at least not most of the time.
Rd, you're a brain dead right-wing liar and hypocrite, go ride on Trump's xenophobic train, LOSER!
And your hero Limpballs is nothing but a degenerate druggie who belongs in jail, as he said so himself, that druggies deserve to be in jail.
Black, when you have closed eyes and a closed mind you, as you seem to have about Dr Scarlett, then of course you'll deny and reject the facts, which are that he has taken this company from the depths of despair to now having a drug, imetelsat, that could take them to to top of the pharmaceutical world.
Kpail, I believe that the Tarheels are the heavy favorites, but I just hope all the games are competitive, down to the wire, with the Orangemen taking home the crown..
I was really impressed with the way the Orangemen came back and beat the Cavaliers, so much so, that I now hope they win it all.
Black, look under your bed, he just might be there, because you've become so dilutional over him that you're seeing things that aren't there.
What the F is going on here? Could it be that J & J wants the share price lower before buying Geron out? That sure doesn't bode well for the shareholders, does it?
"science is more reliable than goonin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Really, can you prove that scientifically?
"Fact is, if IMET is as great as they say it is, why is this still a penny stock?"
Could it be that imetelstat being great is all in the mind of the shareholder? Until proven otherwise, what else could it be?
Beav, sorry but you have it all wrong, because people that have owned this stock for awhile now, have every right to complain, in fact it's the only option that most of have. And that's because the stock market is essentially a corrupt form of capitialism, a sham, being run by the Big Banks of Wall Street. Yet, we play, because it's the only game in town.
"We are gambling on a long shot. Let's hope the trials work and we make some money and more importantly folks suffering from cancer ARE CURED!"
And Geron is depending on one product being successful, that product being imetelstat.
Also betting on biotech's is frustrating as hell, especially when they use stock dilution as their main means of financing operations, and to pay executives far to high a wage, along with giving them way to many stock options. I believe that a company should never be allowed to sell stock until they have a marketable product that's making them a profit, because under the current system there are far too many shyster companies that exist by screwing the their shareholders with humongous dilution and false promises. Yet, I bought this stock knowing the low odds of it ever making it big, crazy, huh.
I bought last July, averaging $4.16 per share, so I'll probably give it another year or so, all depends how the imetelstat trials are going.
Not more nickels & dimes, but instead more dollar's.
And if it weren't for Dr Scarlett's leadership Geron would cease to exist today. So stop blaming him all the time.
