Wow, Cheng, you sure are thin skinned. And why all that crazy talk about bigotry & racism?
Confucius say, "If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen."
"keep: it's pretty stupid to think that chippy will release ANYTHING without first getting Janssen approval."
Black, Geron owns the patents for imetelstat, which means Dr Scarlett still has the final say so. And since you seem to be the expert in the stupid things said on this board, I guess I'll just have to take your word for the Janssen approval...........sarcasm!
Anne, I see that you're still grasping for straws once again. Wake up! Geron will tell us about any breaking news, meaning that you don't have to keep scouring the dumpsters for news, because you're not going find out anything before the rest of us do. So just relax with a glass of whine, because "time is on our side, yes it is".
All I want to see some are concrete results! And you people and with all these trial projections mumbo jumbo, seem mighty desperate to me. You're always trying to glean something from them, when there's nothing to be gleaned, because if there were anything to be gleaned, Geron, would be gleaning it out, from ear to ear, for all to hear.
Thanks, Anne, for another pie in the sky post from you. It's sad how you always feel the need to Pollyanna over GERN's future potential, when it's the companies job to be doing this.
Vette, news is not the same as conclusive results, and that's why the share price bounces between $2 - $3. Geron eventually needs conclusive results from the imetelstat trials, which will then lead to FDA to approval. The tricky thing here, is whether J & J will buy out Geron, or not? If not, then it's certain that J & J feels that imetelstat does not work as they hoped it would, and the shareholders are then F...ed. But if J & J believes it does the job, then they will attempt to buy out Geron as cheap as they can get it for, thus again the shareholders get F...ed. So no matter what happens, it seems like the shareholders always get F...ed, when playing around with biotech stocks.
Wow, Weg403, we need a psychiatrist to figure out what's going in that crazed head of yours. And hopefully one gets hold this post, because he or she could win a Pulitzer Prize, for figuring out your psychotic ramblings.
Black, I have no idea how many aliases you now have, but BUTTHEAD would be a good one for you, because it fits your massive ego.
"all we need are inverters to look at the science and we win."
Actually when imetelstat gets close to FDA approval, we'll then need to be concerned about how much J & J is willing to offer Geron in a buy out. It's my feelings that whatever J & J offers, the Geron management team will make out, with the individual shareholders getting the shaft.
"ive us a bidding war that would drive Geron's price up to unreasonable levels"
Yeah, like $100 per share, but I bet J & J try's to buy Geron much cheaper. Besides all J & J wants is Geron's imetelstat patent rights, because basically that's all they have to sell.
"There aren't any GERN labs, there's no GERN pipeline or research teams"
They don't need them, because they have the patents for imetelstat, and Janssen(J & J) is doing all these things for them.
So I say to you, Cheng, "Wake up and smell the Peonies"
Weg403, that sure is a ton of BS coming from you, guess it weighed you down you so much, that you had to dump it some where, and unfortunately you picked this board to dump it on. Personally I don't give a #$%$ about your problems, and I imagine that most others here don't either, because it's difficult having empathy for a masochist.
Cir, Puts & Calls are done every day, it doesn't mean the folks doing them are right, in fact the majority of times they fail.
" We can change how it's done, and we don't have to make cultural heroes out of criminals and crooked players."
Go for it, Jack! And good luck in changing WS from a corrupt system, to a fair and equitable system.
" To HELL with your damned like it or leave it #$%$!."
Hell is for those who become angry and dwell to long over things they cannot change, because they become angry old men.
