Phil & CL......you guys are hilarious:)........Amazon's gonna hire 100,000 temps for the Holidays. Where they going to find all those bodies? Perhaps our socialistic govt will kick them off the "entitlement" rolls.
By the way, if they ever raise interest rates..........with $20 trillion of debt, a 100 basis point rise in rates will add $200 billion to our annual interest costs. Play with those numbers if rates go up to the 5-7% area. Things will get really ugly. Apologize now to your children and grand children.
They reported it about 15 minutes ago. Add to ABBV's problems that HUMIRA is coming off patent in a few years (or less).
Closed at 6.50...+.15 that day. Down every day since. I might double up again today. Would give me a crazy big position. Average cost now 5.96, could pull that down almost 20 cents.
Had sold KMI in the $41 area months ago. Now back in for my IRA and Taxable accounts, all under $29.40.
Also bought some NDRO @ 2.74. A royalty trust that reinvests part of revenues to maintain or grow production. Different from some others that just drain wells and don't try to add to reserves. Pays monthly.
Looks like some of the recent "healthier than expected" distributions are due to substantial cuts this year in the capex reinvestment that helps prolong the life and vibrancy of the trust. Stealing a little from the future, so to speak.
Kel........now a holder
Please correct me if I'm wrong on any of my research. Did my DD after midnight under the influence of a little Old Thompson Whiskey.....
*production about 65% oil / 35% natgas
*no debt on balance sheet
*doesn't pay out all of net income. Holds back a variable percentage to develop new wells (with majority owner) to help maintain production, and possibly even grow it.
***looks like a better form of RT compared to some that don't add reserves and just exploit wells down to near dry status.
Buy VIG, Vanguard Dividend Growth. An ETF with only .10% annual fees. Or SCHD with only .07% annual fees. Much div growth there too. I own them both. VYM is OK too.
Natgas is in an even worse situation in oil. Remember the deal CHK cut with Williams to help out Chesapeake.
Q3 DCF was .51 and 9 month DCF was $1.58 per share. Lots of moving parts (and numbers) with KMI though. And all the numbers are really big.
Kel..............just an observer
NG demand is expected to increase 40% on a daily basis over the next 10 years. They says it's the energy source of choice for America. Tell Obama that.......
Managed to trade BIIB for an $11 gain today. Coincidentally, the gain on BIIB almost exactly matched my unrealized loss today with FSC. Like Jerry Seinfeld.......I broke even....(:^)
