Horrible game. The weather was an equalizer. Bears executed better. You should hear the local sports talk shows. Packers getting ripped on big time....deservedly so. To Detroit next Thursday night. Have a good weekend.
Average lows mid 20s....///.....average highs....upper 30s.....near average..
Just got back into UGAZ @ 2.53......previous sale on Wed. @ 2.87 (cost 2.77, same day trade)
All indicators down. Problems with bond defaults, brokerage firm investigations, and falling industrial profits. Early indicators for November economic activity are weak. Story at Bloomberg.
As of 1:00 AM Central, the DJIA futures are down about 25 points.
Just in case things crumble between now and Friday 1:00 PM Eastern (close on Friday)....
AVNR had an EU approval for Nuedexta and sat on it for about 2 years, doing nothing. Then they were bought out by the Japanese pharma (Takeida?).
Interesting that I saw another ad for Nuedexta last night on a DISH channel. It still says Avanir Pharmaceuticals down in the lower right hand corner of the ad.

Yes, it has been under pressure. Partly the dist cut, which should be discounted after 4 weeks of trading. They also hold high yielding stocks and some bonds, 2 groups that have seen recent selling.
More of a play on the discount to NAV I guess than anything else as similar yields (10% area) are available many places, all with some risk of course.
Bought @ 12.38. Recently lowered their next 1/4ly dist. to 30 cents, was 45 cents (Xdiv on 12-23). Is now at a ~16.7% discount to yesterday's closing NAV.
It's a CEF that holds better dividend payers and writes some calls against those positions. Also holds some preferred stocks. Have held / traded it a few times over the last several years.
I might be a little premature to think so, as the 50 day Moving average is still declining. But, if you look at a 3 month Yahoo chart and use the + sign to magnify recent action,,,,,,well, I have to say things have certainly improved over the last several days.

Might be time for me to return. Near its highest discount to NAV in a long time. Even with the cut to .30, the current price of about 12.40 shows a 9.6% approx yield, which should be more stable going forward.
