I have been looking at several. Have a lot of EPD too. Sold the oil stocks a couple years ago. Sold bank stocks before the big crash. Sold when Regions Financial merged with Amsouth. Owned both plus CITI, BAC and CCBG. Been sitting on quite a bit of cash the past few months. Took some and bought a foreclosure. Sold it in 14 weeks with 62% profit. Short term gain - ouch.
Like I said. They don't have enough cash on hand to cover a .25 dividend, even if some of it is reinvested and costs them nothing. Down to .21 for last quarter but what about next?
Hope you're correct. This 8% of my holdings but I've sold a lot of stock and am sitting on a pile of cash right now. Had a Limit Order in for 3,000 more shares but it didn't fall to my limit price.
Not unusual to declare late in the month for this company. And you are correct - not declared. I have a sheet above my computer and I marked it with the estimated date. Didn't see the little 'e' in front of the date.
Just a short time ago you could have picked them up under $100.00. I bought in at $97.40. Sold at $140.00 and had to pay $134.00 to get back in.
Just in case I put a ;limit order in at $6.50 for 3,000 shares. There are 3 prices. The price at which almost no one will buy it. The price at which someone will buy it and the price which almost everyone will buy it.
I think, "Surely this cannot sink any farther." Then it DOES. Then I think, "This must surely be the bottom and I should double up." But i don't and it drops farther. Then I think, "Surely there has to be a rise in price." And it doesn't happen. Starting to hate this 'surely', whoever she/he/it is.
Good choice. A Canadian Company so you pay their tax. And they only lost 27.9 million dollars last quarter and 6.0 million for the year...................
