I think you hate the country period. You like planet earth though. Some weird affection for something that has no emotions for you.
He might have called a few of his friends and family to sign them up.
Either way, dont think they will make the deadline. The legal battle recently filed has to be settled 1st. Might get uglier before it gets better.
you got the buys part right. You did make up the shorts part. But while we play make belief, Soros adds to his long position and you will see it in the next quarterly filing. Soros buys a huge position, then brings in a bank to finance their needs and the stock flies so high for many days in the row, the shorts start vomiting bile and cover. That's how wallstreet players do it. For someone who has shorted and came across such scenarios, I have vomited bile early in the morning. Ewww. Not a pleasant thing.
prob not until the judge decides on that legal battle. Unless you think they took senior lenders to court in vain. They are blocking the deal and its real. This will need more time.
and wondering about this stock. Sad reality, zero shares were traded yesterday. Nobody is thinking or selling. Only bag holders are waiting for the next fool to come and take it from them. This stock is dead money. The whole solar sector has been dead and will probably get worse soon.
I have a rare stone from 2 million years ago. I am asking 1 billion dollars for it. So far no bidders. Dont be fooled by the ticker prices on this stock. Yesterday for example, zero shares were traded. There is no demand for this stock. Its dead money. If you wanted to sell 10000 shares you will be screwed because the market cant handle that many shares.
just like tesla..lol...company is losing 4 thousand on every car they make, some business model.
The deal is to reduce debt. You seem to ignore the obvious and go straight at what you like to hear. If the deal goes through, you will not have a chance to exit and will be forced to cover at an astronomical price, a nightmare of the sort.
one that really catches my attention is the 14 dollar strike. This deep into the money, there is hardly any risk premium. The writers are still writing those puts. They win only if stock goes up.
Notice how the open interest on the put side overwhelms the call side. Those put writers don't seem to mind owning this stock. Go ahead and count it up, all those shares. The risk premium is fat also.
How do you know there is none to borrow? Dont tell me you base it on because your broker will not let you short.
Bring in a few millions into your account and then call your dedicated 24 hour agent and see if you can short than. You not even reading my posts.
To help you further, aci % short is 22%. HLF % short is 49%. Why cant aci be short 49% or more? From here on you should be able to answer your question.
Why do you not ask the right questions like why 0 shares are available? Perhaps the institution you are with does not want to let you short shares because it would ultimately lead to a negative balance. Do you realize some stocks have special margin requirements and some you cannot short at all? You are talking silly stuff. Check how much of the float is short and why more cannot be short. Is it not short-able cause it maxed out or because the institution will not allow.
been squeezed many times. You get very little water out of it in return for a lot of work. Did I mention how dangerous it can be to short aci at this point?
