I think Alfred Mann wants to sell the company; thus, it's his job to do some PR so that it does well. If the demand exceeds the supply it will do wonder for Afrezza and Mnkd, the bidding price will go up. Worse case is that they keep this silence, to save money, and it ends up selling like Exubera. Then SNY offers to BO for pennies, game over for mnkd. The thick skull management has to do some PR and pump this product.
a drug this caliber, with a huge market as 400 million patients, and no one knows about it????? Advertise, you thick skull dumbass management.
every diabetic that I spoke to are thrilled about Afrezza. They have to let the public know!!!!! Call or write sny if you have to.
How are they selling a drug that isn't known to anyone, call these thick skull management and insist for them to advertise or do some Public Relation. They have their number listed for IR dept, call them and leave these thick skulls messages.
For this kind of drug and market potential, if I was running the company, this would be trading at $20-30 by now. Management has not done jack for the investors. I guess they are arrogant enough that no pumping or advertisement needed.
you don't have to be a good speaker, it's not presentation It's going on talk shows, Good Morning America, CNBC, etc. They would love to have a man his caliber on their shows, just a few sentences on Afrezza. It's free!!!!!! for crying out loud!!!!
so far $200 millions paid to mnkd with $175 mil in loans, are they hoping for a sellout blockbuster move or is this going to be a word of mouth kind of deal? 65% isn't a big enough incentive? I can understand why Sanofi may not want to do too much advertisment, because it Afrezza got too hot, then BO price may be too high.
But What is preventing the Old Mann from going around on TV shows, CNBC, etc to advertise this. It's free, all it takes is to get off his old saggy acss and do some work!!!!!! It has to be dirty politics, shaking the tree for as many shares as they can squeeze from nervous, then frustrated longs. There are different stages of shakeouts, first the non committed, then the nervous longs, then the frustrated longs. I think we are at the frustration stage now. Just a week before the launch.
You are most likely right, I think management is the shorts. The silence, lack of PR, lack of advertisement, and they do everything within their power to reduce share price.
Please everyone file investingation for insiders trading.
told you, management does whatever it takes to get the price lower. Worse, most corrupte I have ever witnessed in my years of investment. Someone should file for investigation into Al Mann's insider trading. I did.
someon was mentioning at BofA has a solid relationship with Al Mann, and BofA sold a shitload of shares and what you said above. I am almost certain that Al Mann is behind this share price catastrophe; he and BofA most likely hedged into the FDA decision, and it took over 6 months for them to cover their shorts before they let it fly. Someone is feeding shorts info (Al Mann); I wouldn't be suprised that one day this may surge 200% because they will have covered their shorts and they finally release good news for investors.
I still think that Al Mann is very corrupted (perhaps forced to be this way because the FDA tried to kill Afrezza many times; he had to hedge).
it was during the first conference or 2nd conference after FDA approval, look into July/Aug conference.
the timing of change in leadership is probably the last ditch effort to bash the stock before they really have to make legitimate announcements on Afrezza. Mankind leaders are as corrupted as can be.
as leaders I am sure they are not stupid that they didn't know the arts of speaking and being ambiguous, and still get away with statements. But to come out and make statement like I mentioned is obvious bashing. Mnkd and their leaders may be sued because of lack of feduciary duty or involved with insiders trading.
when asked about the $1 bil insulin storage in Germany. Management said, "they are all useless". How about sugar coating like, "we will try to assess how much of that insulin can be salvaged, but we expect that some may have degraded and are useless."
Now, that is bashing!
I have never seen leaders in the company doing everything they can to bash and downplay their success, until I ran into Mankind.
for more than 6 months, not a single word of encouragement and not a single word of advertisement. What leaders do that to share holders? Corrupted ones.
