It means I should have sold at 29.50. I went to put in the order but ran up against the close/too late. Now down 2.11 AHs. Watch it drop under 29 tomorrow...
I agree. Quite a pronounced turnaround from him on MU from last year to this year without much substantiation. Like he just came out of no where and abandoned MU and it's investors. I wish he'd come back and start breaking MU down again for us.
Ha! I wonder if she's a "Lightning Round" type of woman? Something tells me Cramer better live on downers or he's gonna driver her off quick...
Cheetah, this shows you understand the new internet of things really well but can you explain why MU is not on track to do these same things? And why MU can't be a significant player in this arena going forward? kg
Good post astro. And I like your, "disrupting technologies". I've been struggling to understand the new internet of things in semis and saying like this give me something to hold onto. Thx! kg
No cheetah! Read my Topic posted this morning. I'm preaching to the choir with you but perhaps you're overlooking that MU has both the 50% that's new as well as the 50% that old. And PC's aren't dead, nor will they be very soon and MU is NOT "tied to the PC industry". But the Windows 10 rollout sure won't hurt either!
Ha! Ditto! All I can say is I'm glad I didn't follow the direction I've been on the last few weeks and sell when it hit $29. Now, I can't make up my mind. This may have legs to 30 and stay there. But, yes, I too know the MU roller coaster history.

So, yes Cheetah, I get it. Woke up this morning and read two articles that opened up my eyes to why the old PC based semi model in large Co infrastructure ("PC Fixation") is OLD and the new "work- and face-time moving from PCs to mobile devices, and the concomitant migration of enterprise workloads to cloud services" is the NEW. After being retired for five years from a major Fortune 500 Co computing division, I'm learning just how much I've been left me behind.
Now I'm beginning to understand the significance of "device growth Vs infrastructure capacity". This is driving the semi market much more than just waiting for the next Microsoft SW roll out and Intel based PC refresh cycle. Boy do I feel like an old fogey! Lots to learn. The good news is I own some MU stock and MU is poised to be a leader in this arena!
Read these two articles from today:

"Apr 21, 2015 @ 4:53 PM, Wall Street's PC Fixation Blinds It To Strategic Pivots By Intel, Microsoft,Kurt Marko "
Agree. Seems logical the more shares owned the less that can be bought/borrowed. Can't hurt. Applaud your efforts. (PS: I've seen this tactic talked about on other boards so it must be legitmate)
Welcome unnatural and thx for fresh perspective. Although I've owned shares of VG for a long time I am not that familiar with the VOIP business.
So, I have a question: Can you explain what "consumer business" is and what "business telephony market" is and/or how they differ? I'm serious, this is how dumb I am on the telephone business. After five years I'm just trying to get out of a mistake of a trade I made 5 years ago. No pun intended on VG. VG seems to be doing well now and forward but I need out and stick to stocks/sectors I know something about and inclined to research as I go. They're will be messengers here that want to insult me but I'm just being honest. Appreciate you insight.

Thx for sharing. Very good to hear a small business saying so much better than the competition. I'd like to hear more experiences of small - mid business owners on VG.
With the weather getting nice been spending a lot of time outside. Putting in a new lawn & doing landscaping. Beats sitting on my duff every morning... Still thinking of getting out if it hits 28.50, then get back in after 3Q ER. Problem is I'm off my game lately so not ready to put the $ someplace else...
Fidelity requires no greater than $7.50 in a margin acct. Someone on this msg bd said to go above that, like $15, has to be in a cash acct (not bought on margin). Either way, it's being kept out of the Short pick pocket's hands...
Actually, at $5.41 I'd make back my cost back plus about .5% interest per year on a money market acct. Yeah, the opportunity cost I'd eat. It's been one of my more serious blunders no doubt about that. Five yrs ago. Bought it as a trade. Had no business or interest getting into the telecom sector and still don't. ..
Selling at anything less than 5.21 is a loss for me after 5 years! Hardly call that seeking the "top". I don't think $5.40 was asking that much considering the rise we've HAD, telecoms are in favor and the VG ER just around the corner .
Hindsight - now you might be right - now that we're dropping daily and now at 4.77! But the whole market is dropping - so not unique to VG.
