Hmmm, interesting idea. If trial lawyers do latch onto this and I'm not successful selling getting out of my recent position, guess I'll climb aboard the lawsuit. Sounds good to me, ha! (no humorless lectures please)
According to public news releases and this msg bd, MU has had the sun shining behind our backs going into this Qtr and Q4 2013 Earnings release doesn't typically come out over a month from now. So why all the deferment now to Q4 2013 Earnings? kg
You don't need to worry about our whining. Can't affect the SP either way. It's had more than "2 down days". In case you haven't noticed, MU stopped it's Bull run back around 12/10/13. That's when it started it's current fall from highs of 23ish. Continuing down despite reason to snap out of it. So, making it sound like just a "2 down days" is misleading. I do think MU is an excellent BUY at these levels but fear may not resume climbing until next year now. Those of us that have bought & holding in the last few weeks since 12/10ish are stuck and naturally shaking our heads! So, please stop your whining about us "whiners", ha! kp.
I may be reading into this but might MU's stock latest cooling down period of the last week or so be due to Wall Street anticipating Hynix taking more market share after they announced "fully recovered" since "November"? I'm just curious, what was the release date of this article you posted? kg
“Our factory in Wuxi has fully recovered since November in terms of wafer inputs. The factory will also be fully operational within sometime next month to the output level before the fire,” said the spokesman Son."
For example, can you please provide a few of your "all kinds of scenarios created that can explain MU drop? Just so I know what you're referring to. thx, kg
or at least resume a rational climb back up again. Disgusting what market forces have been at play past several trading days...
Sounds like the same article or much of the same content being republished by yet another analyst group as the Topic I posted here earlier. Read the following post below from kg2931 • 1 hour 57 minutes ago
"Summit Research" by Tiernan Ray "$21.31 price target"? What a Joke!"
To answer your question, from the little that I see can't tell because we don't know the date of the "$19 price target". Given that we've been trading way above that for some time It's probably old news. The rest of your post, the “overreaction,” and the “favorable,” parts are reasonably accurate based on all the corrections released last night and today - but neither pts seem particularly earth shattering good news, certainly not bad. My two cents. kg
For us non Options people could you possibly explain briefly what/how options tomorrow might work to drop MU's stock price? You don't need to go way into the science & numbers of it. Just how does (I assume an option period expiration if that's what you're referring to) effect the stock price? I'm sure a bunch of us would like to learn this. Thx, kg
dahka hasn't stirred me wrong yet. You on the other hand are a new critter to learn...
Why don't you take a stab at answering the questions rather than snubbing the messenger?
Not trying to put you off but read today's WSJ front page article and get back if you still want my explanation on it.
Have you heard the joke about traders selling Short? Heard the joke about Short traders? Heard the joke about traders selling Short? Wanna hear the jokes? Probably not, cause they're not really jokes...
Now, who do you suppose,if not chip investors, would be likely to be doing this? Gee, you don't suppose this could be impacting MU stock price now do you, gee golly?!
and then compare today's charts for MU Vs SNDK. Sandisk up all day. MU down pretty much all day and now going into the close.... What do we make of this NAND news? Is this possibly driving MU down? If not, what is?
No, MU hasn't been "bouncing up nicely" today even after yesterday's unnecessary BLOODBATH. So, go sell your BS stay calm or sell to someone that might agree with it. kg
I don't mind be an "idiot". Makes things real simple for me. Don't assume anything. Don't take anything for granted. Don't ..... kg
The Hynix hype has been more than sufficiently corrected today. Why the continued bloodletting of MU stock price? Now down to 21.62!!!!!!!
