Just bought in 3K MU @ 22.92 on Margin. Immediately dropped to 22.87. Now 22.84 all in the span of 3-5 minutes. Hope I'm not trapped for a few days now.
Please, no lectures on the margin..
Nobody said I'm not happy with this latest drive up to $4.42. I'm delirious with happiness. No, the question for this board is why after such a spike the board appears asleep? Also, opinions/guesses on what caused the spike this week (considering there was no corresponding news releases explaining it...). kg
I don't get it. I've held VG at $5.52 Shr for going on two years now. Been waiting for something to drive it back up so I can get out. Now finally on an upgrade guidance ($7 stock), it's jumped 10% just in one day, at a 52 wk Hi and this bd is barely humming! Don't get it!
Anyone have any idea why it's jumped? (other than the buyout hint we got out of yesterday's news release)
To All Long Term Savient Stock Holders
Yes you are correct to_jtt. It just got filed Jan 15th by Rogrodsky & Long / Timothy J. MacFall for a Swedish stockholder Rep by the name of Matz Johansson - but only for the recent period 4/1 - 10/14/2013. Going after only the Executives, not the Savient Co itself. I've been meaning to give some current status on this in another Topic on this bd but will just add it here.
This is in fact the same law firm and lawyer I've been working with on my second law firm attempt to start a meaningful Class Action. Even though Mr Johansson also holds older shares, he and the firm's team of lawyers voted against going back any farther than this 4/1/13 time period. Wanted to increase their odds of winning is what he said. Basically thesee the "conflict of interest" with the Lazard consulting firm while stating suff cash to operate into mid-2014 as the biggest least risky fraud issue.
I just wish they'd expand the time frame to include those of us in 2011 and/or at least 2012. Mr MacFall did tell me that we do still have a legitimate Action beyond just the scope they're going after. He said that not all the other attorneys on the team voted against us and if left to him, he would have expanded the time frame.
So, there you have it. At this point I'm needing a break. Anyone wishing to continue pursuing an expanded Action period (another firm or convince this firm to increase their risks but also progressivelly increase the money on the table) pleas jump in here ASAP. I'll be glad to share my file: Common Savient Stockholders Complaints. I'm a bit ticked off - Rigrodsky's Class Action document filed Jan 15th has essentially duplicated all my research and references in many instances exactly as I had worded my file. Anyway, anyone needing help getting going or sharing what's been done don't hesitate to ask.

Let's get this straight! I don't believe this is a Shareholder Class Action Lawsuit. The Groupon executives are being investigated - that's all.
thx for the link quorum. Most grateful! I'll check it out.
Another question (off topic): Yahoo doesn't let me post internet addresses (links/Urls) in my messages. What might be you be doing differently or how is it you are able to and I am not? kg
Comcast is a monopoly. Most prevalent but also the most expensive while lousy on customer service focus. Great for stock holders. Terrible for customers. I'm thinking the only reason to hold the stock going forward is this new Govt decision which favors cable co's like Comcast.
Your "greedy users" cracks me up, ha! Just who do you think keeps Comcast in the business?!?!!? IF anything, "greedy users" are getting screwed by Comcast's excessive monopolistic pricing!
quorum, please answer dieter's question, where are you getting your info (which obviously is counter to dieter's info)? Two drastically opposing sides on the pricing issue. One of the sides must be BS...
Wrong! Stock Holder Class Actions are what keep corporate executives in line. The SEC, Justice & FINRA dept's sure don't. Even though the monetary return itself doesn't justify the Action, keeping Corp greed in check and exposing the bad apples in the Corp Executive echelon is worth it. It's the only system we have, don't knock it!
jaret, could you please explain what you mean by "since they use the same data feed"? What data feed that Yahoo uses are you talking about? Seems that a major "data feed" causing sites Yahoo to misreport would be easy to fix or Investors could go after Yahoo in a big way... How could Yahoo be so far off? kg
Waiting & watching MU's SP movement before jumping back in Long. So far I don't see any catalysts or anything telling me it's safe to buy yet. kg
Thanks a bunch for posting this RBY website June 2013 source for projected gold production in the "second half of 2014." Hopefully RBY will make an update to this projection and post this on the web site as well. kg
Thx for looking sewells. I would do the same but not near as familiar with the web site as you so will defer to your conclusion on this. Maybe msprings38 can come back and tell us where he saw this... kg
