lets be clear Bill did address bogus report on cc

To be even more clear and fair BCOR said:
    - that BCOR doesn't "support" the SA-Gotham City article
    - "Absolute no validity"
    - that it' beneath BCOR's "integrity"
    - that BCOR "filters" the illicit search activity

But none of this addressed WHY there's "no "validity" or WHAT BCOR is doing about the SA-Gotham City article or the three (3) separate law firm investigations of Feb 19th and Feb 20th...

Yes, BCOR did "address" the bogus report but did not address it because BCOR refused to acknowledge why it's bogus, refused to dignify it with any response other than it' was a "despicable" attack.

    1) The reduced shares have been given to the folks that offered this new financing deal. Are you're saying the financers now getting reduced shares are one and the same as the "institutions" and that these same institutions are already in at higher CB shares?
    2) I get your point. This deal diluted the existing shareholders when they could have financed it out over time instead. Hey, I'll take $12 over $10 any day, ha! But I'd like to just get my darn $5.50 back within this year, now going into the third year!

    Thx, kg

The conf call has concluded. BCOR refused to address the allegations. Worthless call from that standpoint. Sorry I was lead to believe by the Co Receptionist they would be addressed.

We gained renewal of the Google desktop search contract (in April) but lost the Mobile search and Google Mobile search has no date for resolution at this time. However, the Google desktop represents roughly 85% of the business.

They something will be off to a slow start this coming year and some of this last qtrs things were less than expected. When one of the Analysts asked for elaboration, I was amused to see BCOR using the infamous winter weather excuse as well as "consumerism" is at a low now.

Other than that I gleaned very little that might explain why the SP has dropped 27% from $29.48 (12/23/13) to now 21.57 in just a month n a half. I would have liked to have asked on the Conf Call what explanation BCOR has for that and to what extent if any the recent three (3) separate law firms Gotham City investigation may be playing in that. Also, since BCOR is stating the allegations are false, then what are they planning to do about it, what specifically are their legal people doing to put a stop to it.

Pretty disappointed really. Oh well, what else can stock holders expect. We're the small fish at the end of the line...

Now there's a third law firm Levi & Korsinsky, LLP just spit out a New York Business Wire alleging the following:

"On February 18, 2014, shares of Blucora fell after Gotham Research LLC posted a report on the website Seeking Alpha, alleging among other things that: (a) Blucora’s main web properties are tied to malware, viruses and browser hijackers that attack computers; (b) Blucora’s search volumes experienced a boost in recent quarters due to a rise in illicit search traffic; and (c) at least 50% of Blucora’s traffic is derived from malware, click fraud, illicit traffic, and otherwise suspect traffic. "

I just called, was given the lawyer's name handling it, a Cecil Careill (212) 363-7500. Waiting for her to call me. Will share when I get it.

sewells, Respect your opinion on this bd. As you know I've been holding 10K Shrs RBY for over two years now at $5.50.

    1) "payoff for the institutions that bought over 4"
What do you mean by this? How is it a payoff for someone owning shares at 3-4 times the cost basis of where we're trading now (1.37)?
    2) "feel bad for people who trusted the company to act in their best interests and were holding shares at the time of the financing"
How does this deal increase the likelihood I'll never get my $5.50 back, or at least not in the next two years?

This msg bd is dead! Where is everybody? I typed in this Topic yesterday and not a one has visited since! kg

  • Sorry for the repetion but trying to get the word out so all BCOR stockholders have a chance to dial in or visit the BCOR web site to listen today's 2PM Conf Call. THe receptionist yesterday said the Gotham City article is "completely bogus" "without merit" and that BCOR will be addressing at the beginning of today's conf call. For those of you that may not know how to hear it. Go to the BCOR web site, Investors Relations link and then Events. You can either listen to it on your computer or dial in on the toll free phone number. Hope that helps!

Now that we've dispensed with the instructions, let's use this Topic after the Conf Call to share our opinions and intentions re our BCOR stock.

Yesterday late afternoon the BCOR Receptionist finally returned my call. Said IR is very busy but would also get back to me eventually. Said the Gotham City via Seeking Alpha article is completely bogus, that BCOR is family owned and all the Execs live in Seattle (I do too). Said BCOR will be addressing the Gotham City article at the front of today's 2 PM Quarterly Conf Call. Go to the BCOR website/IR link at 2PM. All for now. kg2931

dollars, Ditto everything. Sorry you sold and lost. I'm still holding but down by a third for the month just like everyone else holding. BCOR will be announcing the bogus article at the front of today's Conf Call. Go to the website and listen to it at 2PM. kg

include back to 8/1/2013, not "1023"

Called one of the lawfirms listed in today'snews releases. Spoke to the attorney rep the investigation. He said the action if filed would be a short period Class Action to include back to 8/1/1023 based on "price manipulation" - "click through fraud, etc", "gains made through illegal means" and "not sustainable".

Also called the other lawfirm and left a VM identifying myself as a BCOR concerned stockholder requesting a callback ASAP. ''

Will share anything more I hear.

I c just called BCOR operator (425)201-6100. selected '0' for operator, doesn't pick up, switches to VM saying leave a msg which I did. Also, logged onto BCOR web site, IR Contact Us link and left a msg there asking for a call back ASAP re this investigation.

    Will share anything I hear.

  • I just left the following msg at the tail end of the above referenced article at:

I am a long term BCOR(INSP) stockholder holding 2393 shrs @ CB of $92,621 since 1/17/2001. I see that BCOR's SP has mysteriously dropped from $29 shr now down to $21 since Dec 24th, 2013, less than 2 months! This Gotham City article needs to me pursued legally by BCOR and/or by it's stock holders. I will be contacting BCOR shortly, to see what they intend to do about it and act accordingly.

  • I've owned BCOR(INSP) and watched the Yahoo Msg Bd since I bought back in Y2001. After the name changed from INSP it's taken Yahoo ages to create the new BCOR bd, Now that it's here and I'm looking at it for the first time, I'm amazed to see that it only goes back three pages to Jan 13, 2014 9:33 PM!

    Anybody know why that is?

  • Bought in yesterday 6K Shrs at $13.39. Now today it's dropped to 13.22 already! Very uncharacteristic swing for BSX. Been watching this stock for 3 months. Don't see any negative news releases other than the Director just sold a bunch of shares. The same article mentioned more analysts have 'Hold' ratings than 'Buy'. But nothing fundamentally has changed.

Anyone care to speculate what's just happened?

  • I'm new to ZNGA. I see it's trading 27M average daily shrs! Thinking of buying to start trading it Long on the swings. Those of you that have been here a while, how stable is this stock for that objective? kg

I've stayed out since yesterday's opening because it's been expensive. Figured after this morning's opening I'd let it settle back down a bit before buying. But now loot at it! Defies logic! Who wants to buy at 52 wk hi's? I did that last month and got stuck holding for about 2 weeks (on margin)!
