Surely not everyone has time to wait around and listen to the call. What frigin time does the transcript get published today to just read it?
No. I'll take the heat if I'm wrong but I would never buy ANY stock ahead of earnings. Give it a few days to settle down & watch it - then buy...

Come on! Somebody knows the answer to this! I've already looked at the MU IR web site, don't see a publication comment. Has anyone here seen a news release to date that spells this out?
Really! Where do these analyst outfits come from, ha! And have you ever seen this many different outfits all reporting the same frigin news with different catchy titles?! It's ridiculous! What I wanna know is how do these analyst outfits operate? Who regulates them? By what rules are they required to follow? I mean, yeah, democracy - freedom speech & all that - yeah it's great but this is BS!
I don't mean what time today does the call start. I mean what time today will MU have it published so we can read it. (I won't be able to attend the call today) kg
This from the recent Jan 6th 2014 Savient 8K filing. The question still remains, when will Savient and the Court address these "various closing conditions." ???? So, far I see nothing in the GCG Claims site schedule for this. Anybody have the foggiest clue?
"On January 6, 2014, the Debtors, the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors and the Unofficial Committee of Senior Secured Noteholders agreed on the final form of cash collateral budget, which assumes the closing of the sale of substantially all of the Debtors’ assets and certain liabilities to Crealta Pharmaceuticals LLC (the “Sale Transaction”) during the week ending January 10, 2014. The final form of cash collateral budget was filed with the Bankruptcy Court on January 6, 2014 with the Certification of Counsel Regarding Final Cash Collateral Order and Budget (the “Certification”).
Closing of the Sale Transaction remains subject to various closing conditions."
Well, what a coincidence, 59 too eh! New there was something kindred between us. Good luck tonight! I'm sure gonna need it! kg
Be nice if stock holders had the power to sue mgmt of the company they own but it doesn't work that way in the USA. It's who's got the biggest pocket book, most clout, biggest defense firm, most connections. IF all that's in line, executive Mgmt can be crooked as heck and no Securities Law Firm in the country will touch em. I know, because as a long term stock holder, I've been going after Savient Pharmaceuticals (SVNTQ) - the most blatant ripoff of stock holders I've seen in 20+ years of investing! Just know, that if you invest in the stock market, you do at your own risk. All this SEC, FINRA, Justice Dept, etc, is a load of #$%$! kg
59 year old sitting on 6K Shrs MU for $135,368.05. Today MUs trading 21.50. All I need from here is another $1.00+! just to BE. Go MU!
Yes, you should. Because if you don't, and if, just if, the distribution plan comes up with money for shareholders, you may not be eligible for any without a Claim. That's why I submitted mine. kg
Yeah, you'd be talking about me on that retired early. I've no regrets on my investments over the years. But the tide has changed. We ain't in Kansas no more todo.
Yeah, I think GRPN will remain on my trader list this year. Sure has some wild swings. Sure don't wanna be on the down side of one em though... I can't do nothin till I get my money back out of MU. Earnings tomorrow. Big to do. Good Luck. kg
Gotta admit, it's a good thing when the whole market has it's eyes on what MU does tomorrow! With this much attention if earnings & sales forecasts even just in line and there's no negative news on DRAM supply or pricing, MU will resume being everyone's darling next year. The market needs a darling, this has been it and the market will continue seeing it that way - hopefully...
and after reading every news release/analyst in the last three weeks, nothing's changed my guess. Stock price always goes down immediately after earnings, stabilizes, then if the stock is worth owning - resumes climbing. Nothing's changed....

I've run a list of the worst Savient stock holder complaints by two law firms now. The first lawyer would not take this on but provided no acceptable reasons why the complaints weren't valid and actionable. The second is already investigating a Class Action but it's only for a very short time period after the bankruptcy filing. They may come back and include the average long term shareholder - expand the time period. Still waiting on an answer.
Feel free to take my file of Savient Stock Holder Complaints to the law firm of your choosing and/or present as you like. I will be happy to share/provide my file to your law firm.

You have to love RBC Capital for wanting to put a little hurt on MU lately just so it's customers can buy more, ha! Seriously, does anyone know how to confirm or disprove Freeman's BS opinion on "susceptible to a -30% Q/Q order reduction at Apple (AAPL_) in CQ1.""?!?!?!?
"NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Micron Technology (MU_) fell 2.6% to $21.09 on Friday after RBC Capital downgraded the chip maker to "sector perform" from "outperform."
Analyst Doug Freedman kept his price target of $19 for Micron, but notes that lower chip prices may bring the stock down in 2014. Freedman also noted that Micron's DRAM segment "is susceptible to a -30% Q/Q order reduction at Apple (AAPL_) in CQ1."
The analyst predicts the chip maker will eventually reach earnings per share of $3.00 per year, but that it won't come quickly. "
