It seems when companies do have share consolidations, they usually allow the share price to drop right down before they do one. Perhaps there is a tax advantage for them this way.
If they are in fact about to announce one, I wonder what price it would be at... Would it be as low as 25 cents? A 20 to 1 rollback would then bring the share price to $5 and my 50K shares would become 2,500 shares and the float would be sitting at less than 20 million shares. The company execs will then have a huge financing where they will be able to get warrants which are not available to all the smaller retail investors - there is not much incentive for execs to be buying at these pre-consolidation prices (- :Hmmm....

You might be right... something must be very wrong for sustained selling to carry on like this. Not so sure tax loss selling explains any of this. I asked if the company if they could make a statement to shareholders to comment on this but I just get ignored of course. Seems like there might be a share consolidation in the works. This would explain why there is no insider buying at these record low levels. Just waiting for them to drop the bomb on their shareholders. What ever is happening, we will be the last to find out, I hope I am very wrong about this. This is painful to watch... How do these execs possibly survive on 300K and 400k salaries? Culley should bump his salary up to 800k - 1.5M in light of the fact that the company has done so well for its shareholders = oops time for another financing - might as well bring a couple more e=execs on board eh?

Thanx - greatly appreciated... It seems we will just have to wait this one out until the market takes notice. November can be a miserable month for stocks and the state of the global economy is general isn't helping. That being said, it would sure be of interest to know who exactly is selling and why. Seems that MSTX exec are determined to get FDA approval and the odds appear to be reasonably high for this to happen. This post will definitely help with the confidence of investors here... too bad about the repetitive mindless bashing that continues to clutter this board. Some people just enjoy watching the world burn... lots of mentally ill people out there.

Thanks for the comments... what you say makes sense. Their nasty actions perhaps speak to the potential of where this stock can go once we have some concrete news. I've been ducking in and out with just some of my shares to help mitigate the price drop by pulling a couple hundred dollars out here and there. Not easy to do when it trades all day in a one cent range. I suppose I'm competing with experts with hi-tech computer algorithms...

So they swap shares back and forth at the low prices in hopes that your average Joe will have a panic attack and sell off at a loss? That's not a very nice thing to do to all the lovely retail shareholders )-: but thanks for the shares at 41 cents...I guess...

Just wondering if some of the bigger holders of this stock are swapping shares back and forth for tax purposes. Millions of shares traded over the past few days but so far it has held above 40 cents. The stock is probably more vulnerable to manipulation than most since the price is so low, there are large institutional holdings and the company is on the verge of something potentially big here. I'm no tax expert but can anyone with some expertise comment on this?
