It's about time after robbing all the shareholders, at the least, they have a positive stock price.

  • kizittoo kizittoo Jun 24, 2016 11:36 AM Flag

Pfd shares are a sleeper..and will have value upon exit. How much is anybody's guess, but common will be close to zero or a wipe out. Assets are there and with oil at $50/60 dollars debt holders wlll be secure in place of common, but pfd should live. I lost big time on common but have Pfd on the cheap.

Dupe, we all know why you are aptly named..so, let me be brief..why will it go to $5..."BECAUSE". the same way it went to .19 cents to $2.30. Too many greedy hedgies, KKR and Citi who like to make money! Aqusition in 2016 seems imminent and I believe it will happen when we least expect it.

    Reflecting on a Void.....

Dupe...I'm already a "bagholder" of many dollars, as I was in super cheap years ago. My average cost was .19 cents, because I bought a heap of cheap stock. and sold off my losses when it was profitable against gains (still have a very substantial holding)..No need to doubt me as it's clearly stated in my portfolio. However, I absolutely feel that WMIH will be a $5 stock in 2017 and that more than doubles my profit !

  • I\m sure every long term WMI holder is totally p.o'd with the company's progress. I for one, am dissatisfied with the lack of communication, salary and bonuses that these pigs have given themselves, not to mention the lack of progress. Yet, KKR, Citibank and all the hedge funds who have the bulk of the investment sit quietly by, not pushing for some reform to management.

Now you have to give some serious though to that scenario, as hedgies are an impatient lot and always look for a quick (LT) profit and KKR has mentioned WMIH in their Q's.However, during the last few years the only ones making a few bucks are Management and the Market Makers, as they jockey the stock up and down for their sole purpose..

Perhaps, WMIH has some things in the works and they can't reveal to what's going on, because the targets that they have been looking at may move up in price from what prices their negotiations have been pegged at. Other than that, I can't really think that they are swimming in a void, with no targets available, if so, we are tied to a rock being thrown overboard..which is hard to believe is the status of the company and the desire of the major shareholders.

Knowing the resilience of WAMU shareholders, I guess we'll be here for a bit longer,.... rich or poor !

  • and are poised to generate substantial profits going forward and the market just can't seem to realize the potential value of the stock. I would presume, that one of these days, the investment community will wake up and buy cheap shares, as I think we will be looking at $3 to $4 dollars before the year is out. Next Q numbers will show the trajectory for the next few Q's, even at $50 a barrel.

I originally purchased PWE at double digits, but accumulated enough shares to drive my cost down to a few dollars. I also believe they will sell off a few other smaller properties that do not fit in with their future plans...as they have developed the format for long term profitability. You don't need to have every acre, just the profitable ones that fit in to low cost production and delivery.

And, I wouldn't be surprised that some majors out there wouldn't mind having an O&G company like this in their portfolio. One never knows, do one !

We use a calculation that surmises the mass of the asse, divided by the torque of the pork and then quantified by the angle of the dangle which is proportional to the sag of the bag and inversely proportional to the heat of the meat.
In other words, ......you've been screwed !

Where do you get these ridiculous postulations, from a finger in your fudge cones ?

Whassa matter..you don't like an inside deal?

  • To make money on this one !
WMIH Corp. (NASDAQ:WMIH): WMIH is a 0.70% stake established in Q3 2015 at prices between $2.26 and $2.87. The stock is now at $2.34.

  • and you should have been warned of their incompetence when they didn't cut the dividend.
However, even though you can kiss the common goodbye or a haircut to a penny a share and a huge reverse....the PFD BBEPP could survive and net out a profit at these cheap prices...I'm also sure that a "class action will develop" that could include management and their prior statements and actions.

Everything is going in the right direction, costs down, oil up, debt down..they're on the right track and oil will be over $50 by July. At $60 PWE is a gusher of dollars. A few more asset sales at a higher price and that will take the doubt out as I also believe the debtors will roll with them as they see a marked improvement. Patience !

    Oil Prices to Rise ^ ^ ^ ^

Sensible overview, doesn't seem to be filled with "puffery". The only other thing that wasn't mentioned in further detail was "political unrest" which sometimes can throw a "bomb" into expectations of an orderly rise in oil prices from an OPEC freeze and lost US production. I think the US should sever it's oil imports and develop it's own production with a weighted cost price by the US during this period of Saudi pressure. No sense becoming vulnerable with our own supplies when we really don't need exports excepting from Canada and Mexico. Let the other countries drive themselves into bankruptcy..I wouldn't mind a world revolution in the mid east, Russia and Iran. Can't get any worse that the rulers they now have.

Change of ownership hasn't occurred, ..KKR henchmen are a little to swift for that. The other major player here is the hedgies and I'm sure they will not walk away leaving big dollars on the table. Just can't fathom why they can't pull off a deal, even while "pulling off each other". Can't they multitask..?

and the only one of the original group who is making money is "Willy Boy", he gets a huge whack of shares and a salary and he don't give a "f'k"about his old buddies in the trenches. It's time for the shareholders to put some pressure on Willie Boy and that deada$$ crew of his that have WMIH treading water running off the revenues. Why haven't the hedgies made a stick about this no-go drama and why hasn't KKR and his buddies stepped up to the plate with some "possibilities". It's been too long..and just maybe, they know something we don't ?
