Exactly!! Belviq is proving to be safe with very minimal side effects, is effective for weight loss, has other indications for use, and no injections required!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
No one wants to take the time to have to drive to Dr's office, wait, then get an injection for weight loss. Paying a little more for Belviq is a easy trade off.
Eisai needs to get a new t.v. advertising campaign started next week. Modify the original one to bring in the concept of starting out the new year with new goals, and getting healthy in 2015, etc.
Of course it is being done in China. Just go to the Alibaba site and you will see it. China doesn't have a good track record on respecting U.S. patents.
It is interesting that when Belviq Rx numbers were below 10k the IMS & Symphony numbers were put out every week. Now that Rx numbers are 14K and rising they are no longer being released by people who have access to IMS and Symphony data bases. Stay long - don't sell now.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Articles out now describing possible link between obesity and cancer, with women being more at risk. One more huge reason for insurers to cover drugs such as Belviq and obese people to use it and lose weight slowly and safely.
Most of the developed world wants Nat gas, not propane. cost of Nat gas is much higher in Europe than in U.S. Look at the size of the facilities being built on the Gulf Coast by Cheniere. Eporting of Nat Gas will expand.
Where is the glut of UAN coming from? All competition uses Nat Gas as feed stock, so as I said once Nat Gas prices rises then CVR Partners has better margins.
Cheniere Energy (LNG) is planning on having it's first liquefied nat gas for export plant running in late 2015. Once nat gas exporting starts the price of nat gas should rise which will make the margins look much better for UAN. Meanwhile we collect a nice dividend.
He is still a major part of CVR Energy which is a partner in UAN. Nice dividend, but has been painful to watch share price drop like it has. I think once the U.S. starts exporting nat gas and the price of it rises, then the overall price of nitrogen fertilizer will rise. Then UAN will do well since they use PET COKE as feed stock and have a good arrangement with CVR Energy to get it at low cost. UAN will have better margins than the competitors. The need for nitrogen fertilizer is only going to grow in the future.
Too much data and factual information. SA prefers opinion pieces based upon stock price charts and where a writer thinks the company is headed.
What we are watching happen is a slow but steady covering of short positions. The holders of those short positions don't want to be stupid and create a squeeze which drives share price up. This will continue in 2015.
You are exactly correct!! During the call it was stated that Eisai would be re applying to the EU in 2015. Canada had requested more info and Eisai was addressing that. They also pointed out that Canada and Mexico have no specific time line like the FDA uses, but were expecting an answer from Canada very soon.
Reapply to EU. Canada Health still working on a decision after asking for more information last July. Same with Mexico. Neither has specific timelines like FDA does, but they are hoping for a decision soon.
That is exactly what Jack said. Partnering allows another company with the resources and experience to market the drug, leaving Arena free to focus on drug R&D.
you are being a little naïve. Stock options being granted at lower than market price is simply part of the compensation package for corporate management. Happens every day. Regular employees don't get quite such nice perks.
