thanks sadave, are you saying the revenue increase could be around 25% in the first quarter. if so, it will be an impressive number, +4.5 million. but i think you are saying scanner growth wil be 25%. if so good number, but will really have to for 2nd q to get great number.
is it a big deal if a vp leaves, in 6 months. i think that probably is a good thing, spending less, and making way for maybe a smarter exec. i am quite sure the six month notice was part of the original contract.
CIIX had huge earnings and rev growth this past year. Based on reasonable estimates, they could have 20 cents earnings and 5 million revenue next year. That is WITHOUT medicine man and other cannabis related stocks. That itself equate to around $4 in stock price.
With a low float and os of around 5 million shares, this could blast upwards quickly, if and when it catches the cannabis momentum
Just think, a totally worthless hyped stock MDBX STILL has around 1 billion in market cap.
This is by far the cheapest stock in the cannabis sector. And Medicine Man wants to become Costco of Weeds.
FTNT is kind of old world cybersecurity, like SYMC and Trend Micro. FEYE and KEYW are big data cyber security companies, which means that the threat of intrusions and malware (not just virus) in the cloud is way more important than static entities.
one thing that is going to go very well for KEYW is the training of cyberwarriors. they are in effect consultants, and i am guessing can offer more 'value added services'. i don't think FEYE has this ability. and this extra dimension to KEYW has been possible since it has been getting huge contracts from the government.
it's only till 2014. the bottom line is dialysis supply is viewed differently than before. Amgen cannot be compared with RMTI right now. RMTI is just beginning. AMGN is a behemoth. If the trend continues, when RMTI gets approved (and comes to the market) next year, the outlook will be even better.
Even now, RMTI competes with FMS for supply in dialysate. At least, that will be spared of CMS cut.
news came Friday afterhours. DVA and FMS up big AH. RMTI will most likely cross 16 on Monday, since the CMS policy will help RMTI too.
why don't you write up a detailed report about Socket in Seeking Alpha. You state facts, and in a very detailed manner. Considering some stocks doubling, even quadrupling when an article on SA comes out, I think Socket also deserves this kind of publicity; and you are the right person to publicize it.
i have many shares of sckt, bought at average of 1.35; i could be deluded, but i don't see any panic here. my goal is to gauge the company at end of 2014, and decide what to do then.
invest like this is a new way to do business, my friend. pos with scanners and ipads. mid 2014 is too short a time frame for this to get its gears. think more like 2015.
so bottom line, what you are saying is use common sense, wait until square and the likes will start exploding growth, and socket will tag along. so of course, it is going to take a while. i am surprised that a person like you who has micro-tracked this company is throwing in the towel, considering it is an ultra micro-cap stock, that will run hard if just one of the assumptions will be met.
this is what happens when you invest, not trade, in a low cap stock striving for the next big opp in commerce.
It takes time. It is lumpy. It is at the whim of the customers. they have already said that the Japan situation has been rectified. they have a rational excuse of new iOS disturbing their paradigm. they are reasonably confident about their future. buy with both hands and hold it till end of 2014.

Laser Vision Inspection
Laser-based vision inspection for quality assurance now includes Perceptron-supplied tools to monitor critical points on every Corvette body that comes down the line.
By checking every car and major assembly in the plant, process variation can be seen – and addressed – immediately. Tighter tolerances on parts and new, improved tooling for the Corvette’s various assembly procedures are helping the plant achieve approximately 25 percent or greater improvement in meeting tolerance targets.
Perceptron is essentially a three-dimensional measurement system that uses fixed and robotic-mounted Helix laser sensors, or cameras, to monitor critical build features. It is a three-part “in process” quality inspection for frame rail assemblies, uniframe bodies and composite bodies with a fully dressed cockpit.
