Would you buy at these levels despite co expecting below consensus metrics?
I would be interested in learning why a stock is up 5% despite the outlook.
Do they tend to guide too conservatively?

Relief rally as they missed on both top / bottom line but managed to eek out a profit and production was up a mere 1%.
This is only for those with lots of patience

The moment Cramer told you to buy, that was your Sell Signal.
I bought quite a few shares years back at ~$6 when Cramer was bashing the company and I sold at ~~$34 when he started bumping.
Follow Cramer contrarian trade and make money as I am waiting for him to yell "SELL, SELL, SELL"

    Haven't you seen this before?
Same arguements as before: Numbers were too good for Apple to repeat!
Apple has nothing but iPhone! and so many similar arguements from the same old...

I have been holding and adding for more than a decade. More than once I have blamed myself for not adding more during these times, but I have not sold a single share.

As I have always said, would you sleep better at night holding Apple or stocks like AMZN?
If you are in it for the short haul, ignore my advice

This is definitely the one and only explanation for the dump; Cramer is a contrarian play, just like Gartman

If I may say, the problem is the overpriced rates they charge passengers on lots of routes which has driven users to seek alternative airlines. Despite oil down from $100 to below $60, they still charge fuel surcharge!!!!!
Venezuela is a common problem to all international airlines but I agree COPA has a huge pile of cash lying frozen there and, correct me if I am wrong, but they did not mention that $500M and change in Venezuela in their CC. I would really be interested in finding out about the status of that money.

That said, I am also surprised at such huge tumble on such a downday in oil markets, though I mentioned months ago that if oil moves up, COPA could be more hopeful of getting their money back, sometime!

It is interesting how headlines are created for the benefit of clicks!

WSJ, which has become yet another sensationlist PS, could have said Apple discovered a defect in iWatch before shipping. But that would be wishful thinking.

The pump stock these days is IBM!!!!!!!! Unbelievable.

And you must miss all the money you lost shorting

  • Any metric, whatsoever, handily beat but we are up a mere 1%.
AMZN produces yet another loss and goes up 15%!!! Even on Rev growth, Apple rose 150% more than the ever-loss making but ever so praised by WS crooks.
In what universe does one find logic that AAPl trades F P/E of 200??????

    Please educate me.

Do you know how much the non-cash tax gain was?
I am not really sure, but it seems it was in the order of ~$9.8M. If that is so, the net ncome was ~$1.8M Vs. prior year of 1.9M.
What I am more interested in is forward numbers which look solid but not sure whether the Net income of $1.9-5.9M range is adjusted or not!
I'd appreciate feedback after you listen to CC as I am about to go to a meeting.

    Sentiment: Hold

Simply due to Buffet{s stubborness not to remove this parasite. If it weren't for his constant averaging down, KO wouldn{t even be at $35. How can a stagnant company be afforded such generous multiples is beyond logic! The option premiums show clearly there is more downward sentiment.

DO you know how much the CEO of Pepsi, who actually runs a successful business, earns?_

To bluntly say a company is a scam is a joke, as your name suggests.
If you have proof, do share.

As for fastfreddy enquiry, this is what one analyst says:
Qihoo 360 Technology (NYSE:QIHU) remains a growth story, but one that will pick up steam later in the year.
That's the assessment of the Internet and search services company from JG Capital analyst Henry Guo, one day after the China Internet company reported Q4 earnings that beat analyst views.
Qihoo provides Internet search, online games and mobile security products, competing against Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) and others. The company also provides search advertising and mobile services in the region.
Although investors may have expected more from Qihoo's revenue forecast for the current quarter, the near-term conservative outlook may only be a momentary speed bump, Guo said in a research report Tuesday. He maintained his overweight rating on Qihoo stock.
"While Q1 2015 guidance implies significant growth deceleration, we believe it is mainly due to seasonality (Web games and enterprise security) and lottery business disruption," he wrote. "For the second half of 2015, we see multiple revenue growth drivers, including further desktop search monetization ramp-up, increasing medical/pharmaceutical search contribution, mobile search monetization traction and enterprise security revenue."
Guo also maintains his price target of 40 a share.
Qihoo 360 stock was down 4.5% in morning trading in the stock market today, near 45.50 and within pennies of a 21-month low touched last week. Qihoo stock is down more than 20% this year.

Here's the info from PR on 17 Dec 2014:
CALGARY , Dec. 17, 2014 /CNW/ - PENN WEST PETROLEUM LTD. (TSX – PWT; NYSE – PWE) ("Penn West" or the "Company") announces that in response to the current commodity price environment, it is reducing its capital budget by approximately $215 million and reducing its 2015 dividend by approximately $160 million commencing with the 2015 first quarter dividend payment payable on April 15, 2015 .

In November 2014 , when Penn West announced its 2015 capital budget, the forward strip for crude oil was in the range of the Company's Canadian per barrel modeling assumption of $86.50 . Since that time however, crude oil prices have declined significantly. Reflecting this reduction in the outlook for crude oil prices, the Company has reduced its Canadian crude oil pricing assumption for 2015 by approximately 25 percent to $65.00 per barrel. In order to maintain financial flexibility, the capital budget has been reduced by approximately $215 million from $840 million to $625 million . In addition, the Board has approved a reduction to Penn West's quarterly dividend commencing in the first quarter of 2015 to $0.03 per share from $0.14 per share (subject to final Board review and approval of each quarterly dividend prior to the declaration thereof).

Commenting on today's announcement, Dave Roberts , President and CEO stated,"Penn West's business model assumes a conservative long run-term commodity price, however, the recent downturn falls outside our lowest probabilistic expectations. We have assured our investors that our business is strong and that we would reduce capital rather than seeking to increase production into a declining commodity cycle - focusing on profitability not production. The fundamental attraction of the Company remains a best in basin light oil opportunity across three play areas in western Canada . We have the advantage of being able to adjust our spending profile across a diverse portfolio of assets to maximize our ret
