It's that Mark of a Turd that onlly knows how to fire employess, never to produce.
Analysts are now putting lipstick on the results, FX effect and what not.
Does this Co operate in a unique universe?
If I may pick yur brains:
What was he name of that company that got a lupus drug approved a few years back and was subsequently swallowed by a major?
If you recall names and numbers, I'd be grateful as I believe/guess it was in the billions.
What's so special about a Co selling tea?
It trades on metrics as if it it were a stellar sybersecurity stock!
They have guided down for god knows how long!
Yet the stock keeps going up despite meagre single digit growth with a generous F P/E of ~40!
So why short a stock that no matter what it does, it keeps going up? Analysts have and will always find a way to justify any shortcomings.
If it surprisingly drops 5%, I suggest you cash in immediately.
The biggest BS ever heard.
Apple does not swallow huge companies, letalone those with such a bleak future.
Would you buy at these levels despite co expecting below consensus metrics?
I would be interested in learning why a stock is up 5% despite the outlook.
Do they tend to guide too conservatively?
Relief rally as they missed on both top / bottom line but managed to eek out a profit and production was up a mere 1%.
This is only for those with lots of patience
The moment Cramer told you to buy, that was your Sell Signal.
I bought quite a few shares years back at ~$6 when Cramer was bashing the company and I sold at ~~$34 when he started bumping.
Follow Cramer contrarian trade and make money as I am waiting for him to yell "SELL, SELL, SELL"
Haven't you seen this before?
Same arguements as before: Numbers were too good for Apple to repeat!
Apple has nothing but iPhone! and so many similar arguements from the same old...
I have been holding and adding for more than a decade. More than once I have blamed myself for not adding more during these times, but I have not sold a single share.
As I have always said, would you sleep better at night holding Apple or stocks like AMZN?
If you are in it for the short haul, ignore my advice
If I may say, the problem is the overpriced rates they charge passengers on lots of routes which has driven users to seek alternative airlines. Despite oil down from $100 to below $60, they still charge fuel surcharge!!!!!
Venezuela is a common problem to all international airlines but I agree COPA has a huge pile of cash lying frozen there and, correct me if I am wrong, but they did not mention that $500M and change in Venezuela in their CC. I would really be interested in finding out about the status of that money.
That said, I am also surprised at such huge tumble on such a downday in oil markets, though I mentioned months ago that if oil moves up, COPA could be more hopeful of getting their money back, sometime!
It is interesting how headlines are created for the benefit of clicks!
WSJ, which has become yet another sensationlist PS, could have said Apple discovered a defect in iWatch before shipping. But that would be wishful thinking.
The pump stock these days is IBM!!!!!!!! Unbelievable.
FYI, I have been holding AAPL for 10 years.
So go back to the charts, have a look and see who knows how to pick stocks.
Is your real name Michael Blair?
