I found this which shows basically no change:Cash, short term and long term investments ended 2Q14 at US$1.15 bln, representing 42% of the last twelve months' revenues.
Of this amount, 46% is in Venezuela pending repatriation due to government currency controls.
The important point is the money tied up in Venezuela.
Of their total "liquid" assets of $1.13B, 46% was still in Venezuela.
Do you know what the figure was for the previous Q?
That may shed some light on the trend.
Maybe the concern is over cash burn and cash at hand!
If people believe a secondary is coming, then they decide to sell now to buy at lower price later!
Just guessing and would appreciate your thoughts regarding the above.
Stupid? You cannot even write a proper sentence and call " treene" what you are yourself!
There is a difference between to and too.
& is not an, it is and.
What's withe exclamation mark after fool?
If you can't write, how can you read?
Now go back and read again, by which time MMS will have covered. SO should you.
I do hope it falls so I can buy more.
The only dump taking place is everyone doing it on you.
If you want to bash, at least provide something remotely intelligent.
The company made money in an environment where price of oil has fallen 30% and increased production.
I couldn't give a #$%$ what happens tomorrow, next week or if Co goes bankrupt. What I hate is both bashers and bumpers whose arguments do not go beyond a single, empty sentence!
How about the need to conduct another trial to document Triferic's efficacy in reducing the prescribed dose of erythropoiesis stimulating agent required to maintain desired hemoglobin levels?
Can you share your thoughts?
Currently not holding holding any shares but planning to build up gradually
Did you listen to CC?
CEO just would not answer questions!
It is not a matter of working out percentages off and on - that is the easy part. It is now a matter of TRUST which you cannot work out and the company does not have!
Why do you think supposedly highly profitable Chinese companies trade at P/E of less than 2?
But isn't that opening the floodgates to lots of others in similar situation?
HLF is in a much different shape than WMT, so the fact that they settle could be construed as "Yes" considering all the pressure by Ackman!
One way or other, the stock is going to make a huge move after earnings,
This is just unbelievable!
Co misses, lowers guidance and what not, but stock goes up thanks to DB.
INTC beats, ups guidance and falls thanks to MS.
So why do companies report? Better leave it to analysts as earnings seem to mean ziltch!
Talk of bankruptcy and GTATQ similarity completely absurd.
Those of us who have been holding this stock since $1-$2 know HIMX is much more than Google.
We have been thru analysts know-nothing predictions and ridden this roller coaster time and again.
I have heard absurd things not only about a small cap like HIMX but also the likes of APPL, I have been holding for 8 years.
I ask everyone to refrain from replying to these one-line bashers so that we can have a serious board, once again, so that we can learn from one another instead of engaging in absurd name-calling contests.
Their "standards" apply to APPLE only!
If they applied the same absurd metrics to any other company, then you would get AMZN at $15; TWTR at $2, FB at $ 12; GOOG at $410.
Personally, I couldn't give a rat's ar-e what they say and I wouldn't be surprised to see it lower tomorrow as the majority of the analysts not even came close!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
May Makes sense if there no DRYS attached. Also SDRL is burdened with very heavy debt whereby a huge Div cut is expected.
ORIG is just being used by DRYS Mgm't to subsidize that POS.
Reason why ORIG keeps going down despite being a stellar driller.
What kind of BS is this? He never bought BAC shares, options is what he bought.
If it weren't for Buffet buying, IBM would be ~130 now
I do not hold AMD, I hold INTC.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we are all here to make money.
AMD missed last Q and guided down. But the PPS rose after the initial fall! Why? Hope, maybe!
Did you know anything beyond what Mgm't told us?
So it is AMD giving the shorts a free ride.
Do not blame it on shorts, blame it on inept management who have blamed everything and everybody but themselves for their dismal performance..
It is becoming tempting to buy a few hundred shares at this price, though. But just because the PPS has fallen so much, does not make it cheap.
Why don't you try and convince me AMD is a better risk reward stock than INTC?
Good practice for you and I would love to learn the reasons why it may rebound.
