"What would happen if the CEO was smart enough to...."

Stop wondering about it. Transier isn't smart enough to make a promise he can keep.

In WG's case, more revenue mean bigger losses.

Felix, all I can offer is that the 12% of 2018 are trading in the mid 70 area. Clearly, that says there is legitimate doubt as to the continued survival of END as we now know it. Not saying it's going teets up but if the lenders don't expect full repayment, the stockholders should expect even less. I haven't boned up on their latest refinancing but, no doubt, there is some senior secured debt now in place. Frankly, I'd avoid the bonds. If END survives the stock will double and the bonds may go to par.
If I had a prayer of valuing END's assets I could opine about the bond price, but I don't. Perhaps, if both Rochelles stay on line without additional problems from the Scott platform and IF the owners of that allow for increased flows from the wells, then, MAYBE, the company can get ahead of things with better cash flow.
However, END has such moronic inability to restrain itself about spending and deal making that it never creates enough financial cushion to comfortably survive the unending "surprises".

Transier is an accident looking for a place to happen. Regrettably, he always seems to find one.
