Sounds great if we do not go BK first. Assets all there. Needed in future, but we need to make profits or go BK eventually. When does profitability come back?
Why wasn't Russian coal stopped from going to New Hampshire plant?
Why I am bothering to answer someone whose vocabulary mostly constitutes the word stupid, I am not sure, but your bashing and your negative agenda has been all of this board at every opportunity. Give it a rest already. You point has been made. Yes, I am looking for something positive to hear, and it might not be out there, but it should be okay for me to do that too. I am not bashing anyone. You are. Thank about it.
Would it make sense to merge with any of the following: ACI, WLT or CLF? How about a buyout from MT for more vertical integration within US, since they now have Thyssen plant here?
Been on the receiving end of many class action suits where I get pennies on the dollar. Sick and tired of it. Yeah, I know, pick better stocks. No need to rub it in.
Any chance they discuss more at earnings this quarter? Why keep it secret? Ongoing negotiations or trying to go BK first. If the latter, I will sue big time, everyone on BOD and management as a company and individually. I will make sure BK laws get changed! There had better be some mention about these acres.
I bought more today in mid to upper $3.20s. I have no idea what my breakeven is now. All I know is I have way too many shares and can not afford for them to go BK. Any decent recovery will take a huge weight off my back.
So how much from ANR? Is the railroad problem affecting us or not, since we have ports? Why did New Hampshire plant do such an unAmerican thing, and why was it allowed? Anyone asking these questions? Anyone getting answers? Where is all of the outrage in West Virginia?
So are you saying now there is no room on trains for coal? Will this put ANR out of business? Is ANR exporting or is there no opportunity there due to Russia and Australia? Is ANR in trouble based on your point of view at this time, since this event just occurred? Thanks.
I don't get it. Where is the outrage from US coal companies. Fire them all, and protest this allowed purchase! Absurd.
What is stopping India, China or even Arcelor Mittal from buying ANR or WLT at this point. Our price is dirt cheap to them. At least they should be buying up shares here, but it seems nobody is interested at all. Why?
Will the Aussies stop producing at a loss? Are they trying to put US out of business? Can we compete with them with our shipping rates? Same as NG, they produced at ridiculous prices, $2. Finally, went up, but for how long. It was like they were making sure coal goes under first. Luckily NG price popped a bit.
I was just thinking that. Rotation. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanlely, JP Morgan. The only one that does not fit is Sterne Agee, but perhaps they pump, to allow the others to dump. At what point do they stop?
It seems steels, iron ore, base metals are all moving and coal is not. Can only hope we play catch up tomorrow, or later.
Was that because it was going lower or higher? If short, you are wrong. If long, good call and how did you know it would take off today?
